Many a True Nerd "Fallout 3 is Better than you Think"

I know there's another thread to this, and I know that both of these threads are relatively old, but... What a brilliant analogy! Even if the Fall of the Roman Empire and nuclear devastation of a fictional Earth have fuck all to do with each other. They were still self-sufficient, and actually...

    Baldur's Gate III

BG3 rumors or articles based on it, could trace back to late fall of 2018. While I wasn't confident that it'll come to light, I think there was a chance, and boom! It was officially announced.

Fallout - An Entire Series Retrospective and Analysis

It's a rare occurrence on YouTube. One of the more irritating pet-peeves of mine are people who use the mantra, "be sure to like, comment, and subscribe". If people enjoy the video and want to comment on it, they'll do it, anyway; and if they don't, they won't. No point in telling to do so when...

Yesterday was supposed to be a one-hour session, but it turned into several hours. I guess the game is a bit more addicting than I remember. I do enjoy the sense of dread and claustrophobia present in the first two games, especially Arena.

That's highly debatable. Daggerfall is much more expansive and has more things to do. A few gameplay aspects have been tweaked, too. However, Beth's design philosophy was: "Let's see how big we can make the game" without fleshing any out of it. Throughout the years, I thought Daggerfall was...

Also, it's really lazy to just hand out a-17-year-old game as a one-day-only freebie to "celebrate" the 25th Anniversary of a series that had maybe "one" fairly decent game (and it's the one they're handing out for free) in it.

@TorantRayne While I can somewhat agree that it really boils down on how a game handles level scaling, most games with it, just don't do it so well.

    A possible Fallout 3 remaster?

It wouldn't be a remaster if they "revamp" everything. It'd be a remake, or more specifically a re-imagining. Either way, I don't care what Bethesda does to Fallout 3, because the end result most likely wouldn't be that much different from original product, anyway. I never understood that...

Bethesda giving away 1/2/Tactics to Fallout 76 players

The first two games are definitely worth at least one playthrough. Fallout Tactics, however, is a different story. Not a bad game, but not my cup of tea.

Escapist Magazine calls Bethesda killers of Fallout

I usually don't care about anything related to Escapist (with maybe Yahtzee being the exception) because of its pretentious journalists and forum-goers, but it's nice to see that people are waking up and realizing that Beth$oft isn't interested in making quality games. This dead horse's been...

Sunset Overdrive is an fun game. It's not great or innovative, nor does it particular stand from other games just because of its "lolzies!" and juvenile humor. I agree with Big No. The gameplay is simple and sophisticated, and I would go far to call a "good enough" game. The customization isn't...

what's with this community and the toxicity towards bethesda?

Ugh. That would explain the familiar pretentious dumbassery and preachy attitude that I noticed the last time I went there. It's still being used, unfortunately.

    Enclave or Unity

He was an interesting enough character, but I'm not sure if he holds that rank.
