Hmm. Good and valid points, and my GTA SA main menu shows version 3.0 anyway so patch 1.01 probably won't do much ?? (all the posts on the net I have seen about this are from a couple of years back and they all claim the 1.01 patch sorts it out. Don't understand why this bug has occurred...

STEAM has an .exe file yes, but not GTA SA ... ? I cannot find the folders you have named either ...

I made a helmet for a show many years ago and at the time I needed the exact same thing. The solution for me was to go to a toy store and find a kiddy robot mask with a voice changer unit and I just plucked it out of the mask and inserted it into the one I was going to use. Only cost me...
