This is the one game where CA fits.

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Genres are supposed to be vague and encompassing up to a certain point. Referring to Mass Effect as an RPG has nothing to do with the term "evolving" (?). If the terms Action RPG or "[insert genre] with RPG elements" exist why not use them? Having different genres being referred with the same...

Bethesda E3 Showcase Tonight, Stream Links

So...you select an option by pressing the button twice? :s What you say makes sense if you selected an option with the dpad and then confirmed with the button.

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Yeah, no. Now that 90% of games have stats and perks and the like is even more important to distinguish between "RPG" and "game with RPG elements". Otherwise you'll reach a point where the label means nothing. It's like those people arguing that every game is an RPG because in pretty much every...

OG Doom was very playable even with only the keyboard. Making a good, fast paced FPS designed around joypads isn't impossible.

    E3 2015

Uhm...what? Admitedly I'm not the greatest authority in the field but I thought that FPSs without iron sight, enemies mostly without hitscan weapons, non-regenerative health and a PC moving at a decently brisk pace weren't common in the AAA space. :S The only one I can think of is Wolfenstein...

    E3 2015

Wow, what a crazy morning. I wake up and see that The Last Guardian still lives. YAY! Then I see that they are remaking FF7! Holey sheet!! Then I see the ShenMue 3 kickstarter!!!:aiee: WHAT THE HELL!? Did they put something in the water? What if it's like Bloodstained? "Show...

The way you worded it made you me think you meant that actually. Maybe it's because english is not my first language and yadda yadda.

Do you think that any other developer could have make it work with THAT engine and with the time available? Serious question.

That's more Beth's Gamebryo being shit than the consoles not being able to handle those areas.

Fallout 4 Mods will be available on Xbox One

If this feature were exclusive to the XB1 version you can bet your ass that they would have said it loud and clear.

They didn't say it was exclusive to the XB1, so I doubt it will.

Fallout 4 announced with official trailer

Problem was that in FO3 it wasn't used as a supplement. Blow up Megaton? Three Dog is pretty much the only one that mentions it (and he doesn't even seem to care when you meet him in person...). But yeah, by itself I think it's a good mechanic too. It all depends on the implementation.

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Just to remind everyone Bethesda great handling of the "plot twist" of FO3: -End of the intro: "...in Vault 101 no one ever enters and no ever leaves!" -10 minutes later: During your party a character let it slip that it's not actually true. -10 minutes later: You find a log that states...

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Easy. Gravely wounded by the blast, is rebuilt as an android. The plot twist is so obvious that if this wasn't Bethesda we are talking of here I'd think it's a red herring. Come on: -The Institute in Boston can make androids so perfect that they can easily pass for the real thing -Androids...

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Who wanna bet that, unbenknowst to him, the hero is actually an android? And since it takes place 200 years after the war (i.e. just like FO3) with a bit of luck we could actually be helping Harkness! How cool would that be? /s I liked what I saw (judging it on its own) but it's Bethesda we are...

Fallout 4 announced with official trailer

I agree actually, but only because there were a few useless skills in FO1-2. But I have the feeling they would have reduced them anyway even if that hadn't been the case. Betheda wanted to praise the player for his sacrifice or chastise him because he allowed a "true hero" to die in his...

Fallout 4 announced with official trailer

Yeah, that's what is worrying me too. They have an history of "streamlining" (cough) things with every new game but given that they have already removed Traits, reduced the number of skills, lowered stat requirements for perks (which were now given every level), reduced the number of things your...

Fallout 4 announced with official trailer

Voiced protagonist would suck because, among other things, user-made quests will be jarringly silent or badly dubbed by modders. Bleh.
