Not complaining, just pointing out that Bethesda has done nothing worthy of admiration in Fallout 3.

The point was, it wasn't an original Bethesda design. Everything that still has even a remote sense of coolness in the creatively bankrupt, uninspired, incohesive world of Fallout 3, has been taken by Bethesda from Fallout 1.

Much like everything else that's remotely salvageable about Fallout 3, the "coming out of the vault" moment was stolen from Fallout 1.

Indeed it is. The game is full of awful stuff like that. And this fact cannot escape any critically-adept mind.

Lara Croft is good fun when you have a buddy for co-op. It's a pretty imaginative and polished game and your character mechanics play off each other in a sort of a puzzle-action adventure.

The best first-person post-apocalyptic game was indeed released by Bethesda. It was called Terminator: Future Shock, came out in late 1995, and was one of my most memorable gaming experiences. It even had talking head NPCs and driveable vehicles! And the general aesthetic of the world...

Oy vey, not this again. One can play Diablo, get quests, kill shit, then they play Fallout, get quests, kill shit, and say "I loved both of these Fallout games". It doesn't mean anything. When your perception of the game is so shallow, you will not notice the differences between that game...

It depends on a person's mindset. If you're just into gameplay mechanics, it goes far above and beyond Fallout 1's potential. However, if you're into cohesive, immersive universes, it just doesn't hold up. And it starts excruciatingly, horribly boring, and goes that way for a long time...

You start off in your mother's womb, navigating your way toward the exit. For the first time in your life, you see a natural light. Then you have your 16th birthday party together with your tightly-knit group of other Down Syndrome sufferers, and eventually wander out into the wasteland...

This is going to be another claustrophobic gray corridor shooter with some gimmicks like a gas mask, and completely broken basic mechanics, such as weapon damage falloffs or AI noticing you in complete darkness.

Wasteland 2 is compiled in a revolutionary programming language, which has a syntax very close to natural English. In fact, it is so close, that by feeding detailed interviews about the game into this language, covering many aspects of its gameplay mechanics, the game essentially programs itself.

The next Bethesda game will merge their two award-winning franchises. It will take place in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by dragons. Elder Scrolls: Reign Of Fire: Fallout.

There are many different kinds of humor. Fallout 3 humor is more like a class clown starting to laugh and hoping others will join. It's rather embarassing. Hahaha
