    Bethesda: actually, Fallout is ours

You know, what and how he says it all, it makes me wonder if he even knows anything about the case and it's development, except that his company is involved in some court case with Interplay. Or maybe he's so confident in his lawyers that he doesn't even follow the case. :)

How rich are you in Vegas?

I'm pretty sure that if Obsidian did not switch from GfWL to Steam, PC gamers would get the DLC along with the 360 ones on time. And well, if they did so in the past, no reason for them to not do it again. It's common for DLC to be released on all platforms eventually. MS payed 50 million for...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

What's kind of weird is that they are very slow with screenshots and information. Isn't the game coming out in 11 months?

Why We Love… Harold And Bob

Yeah, that's really great and all, apart from missing my point of course. I never said all/most gamers are stupid kids. I was talking about the younger gamers that usually play on consoles and that blaming them for not playing a game that's almost as old as they are is stupid. But hey, don't...

Why We Love… Harold And Bob

Depends on if you want to spend 60 bucks on a 4 hour campaign full of same old unoriginal content and explosions. That is even worse than playing Fallout 3, if you ask me. Not really sure where you're going with all of this. I mean, your point is, what exactly? Alright, two things. One - I...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I dunno, it looks like one of those newer Tomb Raider games, like Anniversary and Underworld. Hell, I'd bet that something similar can be done on the Oblivion engine.

Why We Love… Harold And Bob

Don't mention it. That's debatable. The series I mentioned are tasteless, boring, completely unoriginal shooters with very short campaigns. F3 may not be as pretty or well animated, but it's still miles better than those games if you ask me.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

    Ok, now this looks poor.

Do you think it's perfectly okay to dismiss Fallout 3...

Borderlands > Fallout 3? That is so wrong on so many levels. Borderlands is bad, boring and repetitive on and F3 is a lot more fun. And Fallout 3 is worth playing. Sure, it's the worst of the 4 main games and story wise it's unconnected. But the way I see it, it's more of a spin off, set in a...

    The Pitt and The Pit

Oh, I love that game, it's one of the best shooters of that decade, sadly underrated. I knew about that game before I played the Pitt, but it didn't feel like a rip off, if you ask me. Maybe I just didn't think of it at the time.

One thing that Bethesda did better than Obsidian

I just feel that it's pretty much the kind of freedom that Fallout is known for. I mean, being able to even kill a radio host in a game world if he's annoying, that's awesome right there.

    funniest moments from fallout games

Dunno what to say to that. On one hand my favorite Fallout game is the first because it has the most atmospheric, creepy and serious game world, with very subtle humor thrown in. On the other, F2 and NV are a lot of fun as well.

One thing that Bethesda did better than Obsidian

Tenpenny Radio? Is that a mod or did Bethesda gave you a very special edition with all cut content restored?

    funniest moments from fallout games

A recent funny moment was when I first tried the C4 on some poor NCR bastard. His corpse flew ridiculously far. Or what was left of it anyway. And of course there's the Nightkin who tried to sell me wind Brahmin (tumbleweeds). My words somehow confused him and he gave me a stealthboy instead...

Why We Love… Harold And Bob

Can't back up myself with any statistics or whatever, but I know a lot of people that bought F1/2 after they played F3. A lot of similar posts on forums too and the fact that some time after F3's release many stores started selling F1 and 2 in DVD cases, stores that pretty much sell only current...

    Your Favourite Fallout game?

Probably a super mutant somehow got in and voted. I would also ask how would Tactics got 3 votes, does the Brotherhood have 3 agents among us? My favorite is Fallout 1, because it's the first one I played and it has the best atmosphere.

so what if Interplay wins back the Fallout ip?

As I previously said, I have little faith in the current Interplay. Pretty much all of the masterminds behind Fallout aren't there anymore and the people in charge are hanging on the past, trying to save a company no one cares about. At best, one can expect them to do Fallout Tactics 2 or most...

Why We Love… Harold And Bob

True, which is why a good bunch of F3 players actually got the Fallout Trilogy pack and played the first two games later on. But I can't see the average CoD fool playing a NES or a Fallout game all that much.

Why We Love… Harold And Bob

Sure, the graphics are functional, but that may not be enough for a new gamer, so I don't see much point in complaining why some talk like F3 is the first game in the series, because for them it is. On that note, I actually feel like trying Wasteland again. See how far I'll get.
