    Bethesda counters Interplay's counterclaim

Here's something I don't completely follow - if Beth is making such silly claims, does it mean that Interplay actually signed a contact that only allows a MMOG to only be named FALLOUT and not have anything else related to it? I mean, if Beth thinks that this is enough to win the case, they must...

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

News flash, you're the only "people" here on an epic quest to correct my personal opinion about a failure of a company, armed to the teeth with chest high text walls of bullshit and poor attempts at sarcasm. Hardly. I've seen my fair share of stubborn assholes and their walls of texts. And...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Yeah, but 3rd person mode is ugly and flawed by default. The rest still seems average/decent enough.

Van Buren content used in new games

I remember reading about Beth using some ideas, but I don't remember which are those.

Van Buren content used in new games

Sorry if it's been mentioned before, but I am curious as to what content from Van Buren has been used by Bethesda in F3 and Obsidian in New Vegas. I know that Obsidian used a ton of VB ideas in NV, but what about Bethesda? What did they use in their F3? A list of sorts would be nice for both...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Don't know why everybody hates the Oblivion and F3 animations. They aren't particularly good, but they are average\decent if you ask me. Saw a lot better, but also saw a lot worse to complain.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: First Q&A with the Team

Yeah, loved CoP for not being a bug fest like Clear Sky. Then again, a patched SoC hardly had any bugs either.

    Interplay counters Bethesda's claims

Always loved how silly and long most updated SF titles are - Super Turbo Street Fighter Extreme Alpha HD bla bla bla.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

True, nothing mind blowing. It does look sharp though. And if you ask me, Crysis 2 doesn't look impressive either. Right now I doubt graphics will get so much better than we will be truly impressed with something.

    My Fallout: New Vegas review

The combat is hardly horrible. A bit easy? Yeah. Vats is more eye candy that gameplay? Yeah, but at least it captures the over top violence in a way similar to F1/2. Is it as good as F1 and 2's? God no and it's not deep at all. But is it satisfying and fun? Oh yes, it is. Real time feels more...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Doesn't look bad actually. At least the next Fallout might look good too.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: First Q&A with the Team

I like the series despite it's flaws and I hope Stalker 2 will be just as hard and grim as the previous games were. But sadly, since it's being made for consoles as well, we can probably forget about having the same dynamic fast battles and player raping AI, since I can't imagine someone...

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

Oh boy. Another wall of text. In all honesty, call me a quitter but I really don't feel like replying to your entire wall of bullshit text for the next 20 minutes. So I'll just quickly reply to a few more or less juicy parts: Never said it was. My point was that sales have increased after F3...

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

Fair enough then, I'll take down that part. Like I said, if they manage to make something good before Interplay pisses itself and dies again, I'll be the first to sign up. I do have some faith in a few of these guys. But I have nearly zero faith in the company they work for and the rest of of...

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

Hmm, Juicy wall of text, full of bullshit and tasteless sarcasm, yummy. No, when I say that I mean that they score cash from sales extra sales crated by the popularity of F3. Yeah, they have a right to, sure, but they are still wankers. You wanna know why they went for a Fallout MMO...

    Interplay counters Bethesda's claims

Look at how badly Activision screwed over the COD MW2 developers. So what? The next CoD game sold better than the last. And Activision still publishes a ton of games. Business world. Business world never changes.

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

I'll just say this - if the engine can make a 40 square mile big map full of locations, I would bet that it can render a 100 - 200 or more square mile map with the locations of say F2 and have a few small locations here and there plus some random encounters. Add a vehicle to travel faster though...

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

Meh, we can argue about it all day. Let's just agree to disagree on the subject and call it a day.

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

It will be pretty much the same story, with a few details about the locations being changed. Nothing too serious to make it a different story, because distant locations do not play a serious role in the story. Don't you think you're going a bit too far into the nitpicking territory? And I...

Mark Morgan's "Vault Archives" available again

Again, the size of locations does not really factor into telling a story all that much. And as far as I remember, none of those cities were recreated in F2 in their real life size either. You can change those locations to smaller made up ones that make more sense and tell the same story.
