IGN's Fallout: New Vegas Demo at E3

I remember the subtitles option, and i played it with subtitles on, but are you sure they worked outside of dialog? In combat, for example?

IGN's Fallout: New Vegas Demo at E3

OK someone correct me if i'm wrong here, but i saw NPC's taunts outside of dialog as floating text. Fallout 3 didn't support that, did it? You only got to hear them, and it sucked if your first language wasn't English.

Ebert: Video Games Can Never Be Art

Ebert is probably referring to videogames in the form that they are mostly known as: Products of the Gaming Industry. And as far as these games are concerned, he's correct. And you can extend some of these arguments to the Movie and Music Industry as well. If he had a broader definition for...

Fireside Chat: Alpha Protocol reception and New Vegas

TBH my experience with KOTOR2 with all settings set to low on my 5 year old PC was far, far less buggy and glitchy than with Fallout 3 on XBOX. As for Alpha Protocol, haven't played it yet, but these 5s and 2s sound weird, given how many crappy games have gotten 8s and 9s. I really can't...

Moments in gaming that made you laugh

Fallout 2 was the game that gave me the greatest laughs. It had a lot of funny moments but two of them stood out: 1. Becoming a boxing champion with a character with the jinxed trait and 10 Luck. All i had to do to get the gold medal was to just run circles around the ring, waiting for...

Create your movie or game character for your F: New Vegas

Traditionally, my first character in fallout games (1,2, Tactics and 3) was . stats and skills varied due to systems changes, but there was generally an emphasis on fighting, drug use and sex, where applicable. So i commonly tagged small guns, big guns, mellee and took as many as...

    Game Informer goes to 11

When all the websites are currently stuck at 10, Bethesda's fairly irrational love of magazines continues as it seems Game Informer has more than that.<blockquote>13 new unreleased screenshots. Includes first shots of the Strip and first look at Caesar's Legion Soldiers 6 new sets of outfits...

A few more Fallout: New Vegas previews

I hope for World Peace. I thought i was overly optimistic about New Vegas but this is just too much. A follower that's actually bad for you and you have to get rid of him? heads will implode on the idea. At best we'll see some Mormons.
