    I know of that one, think it is one of those things that cannot be fixed properly. One of the reasons I tend to avoid that fight in general, sadly, since it is an amusing fight otherwise, or I just try to burst him down quickly with heavy weapons before he summons too many pets.

    It would mean that either one or two of the slavers are alive still, check entire area just in case, there's bound to be some patrolling/guarding slightly remote areas of the slavercamp. There is also the peaceful solution to trick the slavers into giving you the key, if you keep having issues...

    Personally, I find the Military Base rather hard to make through alive than the Master's Vault. Can't sneak through it for example, shitload of hard to kill mutants if one does not have good enough gear and in general a rather irritating thing is that the Brotherhood refuse to enter the damn...

    Has to be Super Mutants with rocket weapons, OR the Wanamingos/Aliens. Most likely the latter, but Rocketlaunchers are pretty annoying for my group most times.

    I tend to avoid saving in mid-combat, seeing as I tend to get issues when loading the file again, examples are game crashes, corrupted savefile, game shuts down unexpectedly (Fallout 2, haven't played 1 for eternity).

    It got removed in the RP project in general, noticed that back in 2.1. If you need cash, go Gambling (around 160 skill) and clear out New Reno casinos.
