It isn't that far off. A bunch of US retailers have already ordered more. You've also hit upon something that most Fallout 3 haters haven't... compared to the current market... Fallout 3 is far better than you all make it out to be.

People tend to forget the Might and Magic series. Not that I blame them given the results post number 7.

I don't think the games are in competition. I didn't mind Fallout 3 and will certainly play the hell out of Diablo 3. I remember a soundtrack leak from it that I heard a couple years back that was positively gorgeous.

You're really just bouncing, opposite to opposite. You wouldn't have cited him 20 times if there wasn't some weight to his side of the argument. Everybody should just devote their energies to modding, be it expansions to 1 and 2 OR 3.

I'll admit. I wasn't too satisfied with the PS3 console graphics. Running it on the computer I haven't had nearly the the same reaction though. I'm satisfied.

I hate to say it... Crysis isn't an RPG in the slightest. Get a hybrid title... get hybrid quality. The whole 'let's go crazy over Crysis and Farcry 2' Fallout 3 hater idea casts them as a different type of game than they are.

I'm not a big fan of cheesy metafiction. I don't find the "system" portion of Fallout 2 all that impressive... and it crashed more and had less available updates than Fallout 3 had for me at the time. What I enjoyed were the setting and the dialogue. I feel like the setting was somewhat hampered...

I must've gotten a curiously unbuggy copy. I destroyed stuff with big guns fairly frequently. There were occassional ammo shortages but I found hitting stuff that held hand weapons with missiles quite entertaining.

Lots of parents buy M rated games for kids. It is sort of scary.

I actually rather liked the Alien vs Predator comics. What was done with them was the questionable bit (I think AVP could've been enjoyable as a Hard R rated movie). Some Predator fans would say I was a terrible person for enjoying Batman vs Predator. I had fun with it... I didn't expect...

Totally left off the badly done in metafiction in 2. Other than that... not that far off. I'll repeat once again that comparing 3 to 1 and 2 versus the games currently out there makes it look much worse than it should.

I pretty much resolved myself to use explosives and limit my use of VATs. I was entertained.

Heck with the Enclave. I want to have Fawkes or Dogmeat help me with Project Purity, join the Outcasts to fix the Brotherhood (I wish there was a main quest prong off getting them tech....like an opposition to the BOS plot....and there could be an 'evil' Enclave one and an 'evil' Raider one)...
