...do you really want to be able to kill children

Invisible War was released on the PC and Xbox. It was fairly prominent during it's release due to being the sequel to Deus Ex. It had (and I'm repeating this for the eleven billionth time) children that you could shoot in the head, burn to death with a flamethrower, shoot with a dart weapon...

Fred "fizzbang" Zeleny on RPG dialogue

Given the amount of producers in charge, the majority will no doubt be dumbed down by executive decision.

...do you really want to be able to kill children

I can just imagine if a journalist had the guts to take it a bit further.. "Do you really want to kill children?" "Yes." "Killing children is immoral and wrong!" "So is nuking an entire town full of innocent people. Presumably with children among them unless this is some sort of...

Erm no, seeing as Fisher is voiced by Michael Ironsides (who is awesome) and daddy is voiced by Liam Neeson.

    id's post-apocalyptic game: Rage

True. I hate FPS in general, really. I've never had a taste for it and think it's an overdone genre. That said, I have no ill-will towards these guys for making another one as long as they don't have any pretense of it being something it's not.

They could make a Fallout that's true to the original games by staying close to their original design philosophy, instead of simply taking Oblivion and slapping Fallout graphics on top. I for one don't care about Super Mutants, and wish they'd just drop the BoS.

On the contrary, the blatant usage of Super Mutants and the BoS exposes the fact that theirs is Fallout in name only.

What's your favorite crpg NPC character?

Ehh... they've both been done to death. 90% of all RPG villians want to either rule the universe or destroy it. Or sometimes destroy the universe and then be the absolute ruler of nothing (mostly in J-RPGs).

Liam Neeson: But you didn't count on Bethesda pulling another FEV vat out of their ass (ass!) Once again we can spread Unity (Unity!) For you see, I am the Master 2.0 (Master!) oh and I am your father (father!)

    Racist Resident Evil 5

Hey in my latest game of Civilization IV I (as Rome) destroyed Ethiopia on the 15th turn (silly AI leaving it's only city undefended). Does that make me racist? :aiee:

    id's post-apocalyptic game: Rage

This'll be an FPS, right? I suppose it'll be funny if it's released around the same time as Fallout 3, and steals F3's thunder by being a post-apocalyptic proper FPS instead of some half-assed hybrid.

    Level Romania previews Fallout 3

It's sad that this semi-skeptical tone is among the best found amongst a sea of "uber-violence means it's Fallout!!" and "I liek teh nukular catapult!"
