This line is used, so maybe the Vault 27 section is being used generically for finding the two vaults? Vault 24 is part of the Dayglow expansion, and that line only appears if you are in certain areas of Dayglow. I changed subway to 'cellar', as it is a little more 'cave-like' in definition.

It's things like this, along with tommy gun wielding gangsters, sword-wielding yakuza, the temple of trials, etc. which disqualify Fallout 2 from being the 'Best', even if we had more fun playing it.

Yeah, the initial 'Returning Home' cut scene does not exist. I thought the 'Destroying the Cathedral of Fire' video existed, but looking in the master.dat reveals only a placeholder video. I swear I saw it though. Maybe I am remembering the destruction of the cathedral in Fallout 1.
