i've always liked stalker and i think the trailer was pretty sweet, and if it was supposed to be slo-mo then they did it poorly. when i watched i thought it was their pc lagging. the first thing that came to my mind was "damn, these guys need the patch!"

brilliant. the only way to fix the game you download from steam is to already have the game and copy files over. this being the case, why not just install the copy you already have and bypass steam altogether?

i played through and beat point lookout and then started a new game and went through the operation anchorage dlc and then straight to point lookout. i haven't beaten the dlc completely yet, but the ghoul reavers don't exist and the enemies aren't as hard as they're supposed to be. i think level...

a new radio station with the red elvises would be awesome. but i just use the mod that puts music from fallout 1/2 into 3, and that made the game much more enjoyable.

i still hope they pull this off, despite the odds and all.

don't forget that VTMB by troika was built on the source engine by valve, and even though it took the fanbase to work out the kinks in the game, it's amazingly well done. FPP RPG games are entirely possible. VTMB and wizardry 8 come to mind as two FPP RPGs that did amazingly well. of course...

after my experience with their last dlc, i'm going to wait a few more weeks before i even try it. th eonly good thing that could come of this is liberty prime could wind up dead.
