i wouldn't be too worried about the pc specs. i couldn't run oblivion when it came out and i had to run a mod called oldblivion. i didn't get all the semen mapping and the game ran pretty great on my system, unless you were in a huge open field and it wanted to draw ugly grass all over. my guess...

i couldn't agree with you any more about steam. it's great for games you buy because you never again need to worry about the cd or keys or anything. it's just there and you can download it to whatever pc you have whenever and play online. can't really beat that.
