Saving Interplay campaign is just not convincing. Why would they need to secure the "Interplay" name without any real asset (like people) associated with it?
Donating for a game with glamourous well-groomed chicks with guns in the postapoc setting? With Capture the Flag and other FPS modes in an RPG?
No, thanks. The best I could do for them is maybe download a free demo if it ever gets released.
And I liked the video somehow :) However, I wish they could elaborate further on goals, design and visuals at least.
But I seriously doubt they will be able to collect any considerable amount of money this way.
Man, I've just discovered that I cannot seem to remember 'synths' from wl1. That's embarassing :) Where did I meet them in wl1, and which role did they play?
Hopefully, this would not be the FO3 spiritual successor, as I simply would not make myself play through it (I barely managed to play through FO3 after several years).
But, considering Skyrim was a big success in my view (and a huge step forward from Oblivion), I reckon FO4 has all chances...
Thanks for a full size pic, NMA! :)
The bad:
1. Ground looks plastic to me. Is it sand, stone or what?
2. Chars are not convincing (legs especially). They just don't look 'sturdy' enough to me like Rangers I imagined back in the day. I also hope that the equipment carried will be shown...
I've asked this one at the official forum too, as the vision document, in my view, is not clear on that. However, some guys at the forums say otherwise, and they seem pretty sure.
If such option is intended, though, I cannot but applause.
