Van Buren's graphics were (are) perfect for an isometric game, I wouldn't have changed anything. Man, since the release of that techdemo, tears drop from my eyes when I hear "Van Buren". :( THAT'd have been the perfect sequel.

Did you patch your Fallout? Those saved games were probably saved with a patched version. And if versions are different, the saved games won't work.

It looks like you're new around here. Sorry, but ideas like this of yours appear from time to time. And, with a few exceptions, all of them end up being just good will, so don't expect people being utterly excited about this. Anyway, why not to use FIFE (Flexible Isometric Free Engine)? Yeah...
