Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I changed the text, sorry. I still find it very confusing though. Have you been in contact with Nevill? Perhaps he has prepared fixes after all, like he said.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Yeah, that's very strange. From the text, it sounds like gcbrain is just one of all things that have been fixed. I'm sorry if I confused you. Morticia and I worked together on the initial buglist/wikipage. I agree that the list on the wiki seems pretty complete already. It's also going to be...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I've just added alot of stuff as UNCONFIRMED, pasted from this thread. This is because I don't know if it's still bugs or not - I haven't played F2RP since back in February, and I never had a single crash. I also didn't go to the new locations since I wanted to save the experience until they...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Sorry, this was a paste error. The "I" in that list was Nevill, who made an unofficial patch for v1.1-Feb22. Check it: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40590&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=999 If you PM Nevill, or if they read this, I'm sure you could get a list.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Sorry, I don't have time. I hope someone else will read pages 35-57 from this thread. I'm happy to help, but it would take me ages do it myself. The point of a wiki is that everyone can put in a little effort, and still great results can be created. This is on the wiki page already, as a...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

If we work backwards, and only add a bug if it's very likely it currently exists, then this question is irrelevant, wouldn't you agree?

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I think it's much better to start from the end. The first 30 pages (of 60) are probably just related to art_cache_size or to F2RP older than Feb-22. EDIT: I've done page 58-60 now. EDIT: If you can confirm/reproduce a bug in the list, add your system/Fallout specifications! Killap needs...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Why not do it together? I've added the ones I know about here: http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/F2RP_Technical_Info#Current_bugs ...but I must say, I think it's unnecessary work to go through these 60 pages, since almost every bug report I find is either because F2RP was not the latest...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I think RP is only *guaranteed* to work with the optional mods in the RP installer. This might change in v1.2, and Killap knows more for sure. There are alot of mods it is guaranteed *not* to work with...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

If you downloaded F2_Restoration_Project_1.1.exe before February 22, you have to download it again. Also, make sure you install the "fixes": http://killap.net/fallout2/expansion/fixes/ http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/F2RP_Technical_Info

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Yes, it could cause problems. There's a wiki page with technical information about the Restoration, so people don't have to read 60 pages of confusing information: http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/F2RP_Technical_Info Anyone who has anything to add should feel free to do it.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

This thread (and the Expansion) desperately needs a FAQ, preferably on a wiki. Any takers? EDIT: This looks like a perfect spot: http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/Killap%27s_Fallout_2_Restoration_Project Please help me fill this page with all the vital/crucial information contained within...

It's located in the first post in this thread. Read it carefully, and you'll find the village!

Did you check the Nearly Ultimate Fallout Guide for how to get these quests etc?

Do what I do: forget the shove action exists, and just shoot them!

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Based on this; since the OS fix wasn't removed, I'm assuming that one is not dangerous to install.
  18. T

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Delete everything you already downloaded, and then download the installer and the fix for your OS. Then make a new clean humongous, install the Restoration, and then apply the fix. This is the only way to get the best possible experience. Unless you can wait a few weeks for 1.2... =]

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Actually, part of the reason for making the Restoration in the first place is to make Fallout 2 as stable and consistent as it should have been from the beginning. I think there's a count somewhere of how many bugs the Restoration fixes, and it's in the hundreds. I think you'll find that the...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Wouldn't the main menu show whether a version was pre-patched or not? I am fairly certain my version is unpatched, even if it's on one of those FO1/FO2/etc-compilations, because 1. the restoration works without problems, 2. the main menu doesn't mention any patching (it's the child-less UK...
