    Chris Avellone talks Fallout 3

There is only one city of Deathclaws... and there is an unmarked quest there that will net you a uniqe power armor that talks and automatically uses meds. Unless you mean the Deathclaw caves... where there is a uniqe lazer and bubblehead.

Interview with J.E. Sawyer on Xbox Live

 And no. I wouldn't want to fork out for the horse armour they would try and make us buy.

Interview with J.E. Sawyer on Xbox Live

Yes. We shudder at optional game modes. The mare fact that it's an option is keeping me awake at night. Obviously. Agreed to a point. I'd rather have it be a default, with an optional 'casual' mode for those unwilling/unable to cope with managing their hydration levels and ammo...

    Bethesda talks Fallout: New Vegas

I think that was due to pressure from Lucasarts, rather then something they wanted.

As far as I'm concerned,Fallout 3 never happened. *spoilers*

I actually loved it. The end was shocking (almost ruined the rest of the game for me), but it was a lot better then I thought it could have been. Keen to see if they can improve on FO3.

There are a few people over at Evil Avatar who were able to play the Fallout 3 demo at PAX. I know these guys, I know that they loved the original Fallout - and so when they tell me that Fallout 3 may look like Elder Scrolls but does not play like it, I believe them.

No. No you can't. But playing the demo you can see a little of what it will be like. Obviously most of us won't get that chance. Well, that's just dumb - 'cause a Hack 'n Slash RPG is still an RPG. But it does contain few of the RPG elements I really enjoy. Cheap? Is that really the word...

Shivering Isles was awesome. :D Too bad the rest of Oblivion wasn't more like that, really.

It’s not really a question at all. :D Obviously their games have a massive scale, but tend to be extremely shallow. I’d rather see the series go to Bioware or Obsidion who still have a different style, but are much closer to the original Fallout’s RPG style and have worked with...

I fear to post. Seriously, I do. Anyway….. I think that Fallout 1 & 2 are my favourite games of all time. I say ‘think’ because it varies depending on my mood at any given time. Baldur’s Gate is great for traditional epic exploration, Planescape has the best story, Neverwinter Nights is great...

    Pete Hines on negativity

I'm right there with you, Xenophile. To tell the truth, we aren't going to know jack until we play the game. If they manage a 'true' RPG, then it'll be great - but we don't know yet if they can pull it off. The system doesn't really relate into it.

Fallout 3 to hit PS3, GI says

I disagree. The problem with Morrowind (and Oblivion) is that none of the NPCs have any real charater. They say so much, yet have nothing to say.

Fallout 3 to hit PS3, GI says

I'm fine with this. But then again I'm a X360 owner. I gave up PC gaming when it became obvious that epic PC RPGs just were not being made anymore. I couldn't be bothered with the upgrading required if I could get the same games on a console. Just being a console game won't hurt...

Fallout 3 forum polls and reverberations

Okay, time for me to get flamed….. Those polls are the most bias lumps of crap I’ve ever seen. They are framed in such a way that the poll is ruined from the get-go. For example: You are giving people two options: Do they want the character to have noticeable improving or do they want...
