This is true from what we've seen I agree. However, Bethesda almost always does this sort of thing in their RPGs. You're the Nerevarine (granted that's more of a deconstruction), You're the Dragonborn fated to kill Alduin, You're the only one who can purify the waters of D.C., etc. It's not bad...

Exactly, it's been overused alot in the past few years, I give a pass to trilogies involving the same character like Mass Effect (it's own problems we shouldn't discuss on a fallout site), but overall the cliche has been really worn out.
