Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Eh, I'm the same way when it comes to making my pen and paper games for my group. Overactive imagination, still, I keep notes and make sure that my ideas don't conflict. Somethinng I doubt Bethesda does anymore.

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Yup, Bethesda has been getting more obsurd by the minute, so might as well go whole hog and ride the train all the way down.

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

As much as I hate the idea, two rival power armor gangs agressively dancing at each other would be entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

Yeah daddio! Don't be such an L7, now let's go down to the cafe and snap our fingers at some hip poetry!

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Yes, but as far as I remember they placed the walls at believable places like huge nigh-unclimeable mountains, and at modeled border crossings. They could have gone farther and aded border guards who would kill you if you tried to cross, but it was a little more flavorful than an invisible wall...

    First Impression of Fallout 4

No, no sarcasm it's genuinely impressive that they were able to produce power armor in a resource scarce world. That's the one thing I respected about the enclave, rather than just maintaining tech, they sought to improve it despite limitations.

Truly the Advanced Power Armor X-01 is a testament to what technological competence with a survivalist mindset can achieved in the wasteland.

Easy there Tiger, it's very possible that the Enclave just poured money into MIT to fund a Power Armor development program, hell they're probably responsible for the T-51b being possible. They didn't get involved in direct production until after the bombs fell.

Yes it was, but standard procedure in long wars is to preserve as many resources as possible. Therefore to avoid the exponetial cost of a perfect fighting machine, armed forces usually make models that have cost cutting measures, an easy way to see this is to look up WW2 variants of weapons. You...

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Funny thing is they (corporate AAA) are all full of shit. Wasteland 2 is selling on consoles, XCOM:EU sold on consoles both with no real changes other than gamepad support. Hell, we've got a remake of a 17 year old game series selling to everybody on mobile and PC. They're just a bunch of inbred...

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Well, Morrowind and a few other RPGs like KOTOR were on console at that time. Honestly, I blame focus groups and dumbass execs more than I blame consumers, though they have become part of the problem.

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Dammit, on the one hand it makes sense because of course the Enclave would have invested in tech institutes. On the other hand, New Vegas was the perfect Swan Song for the last of the Enclave remnants, and anything that ruins that is gonna to highly disappoint me.

Dear god, that reads like a Kotaku article.

Ah, the old Bethesda instant crouch jump. Same as in Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Should have learned from the New vegas jump animation.

From the creators of Skywind comes Fallout 4 Vegas?

I was willing to accept that as a result of D.C being completely pulverized by bombs. What bothers me is Oasis and Point Lookout show us that Bethesda is fine with making green wastelands, they just aren't smart enough to know that grass can grow again after 200 fucking years.

Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

everything i've seen from gameplay vids seems to indicate a mostly desert, with a little bit of swamp. To be fair, I could be wrong on that count.

So it's a desert, even though it's on the coast :wtf:. Geography checks out, A desert at the edge of a coastal region, it just works.
