No, they aren't. The Game will basically be in english, as soon as you rename your text/language folder. Only a few untouched dialogues and talking heads will remain in the old language.

Ok, i seem to have fixed my problem by myself now. If you want to start FO2 with RP 1.2 under Windows 7, you have to make sure to uncheck *everything* in the compatibility tab, even run as administrator, or you'll get a compatibility mode error when you start the game.

As you can see on one of the pages, they are talking about the roots of Obsidian and how they were involved in creating Fallout 1/2. It's well written, by far better than the OXM hype. They are even mentioning that Avellone wrote the Fallout Bible.

I still hope for a comeback of the M72 Gauss Rifle and it's handgun counterpart. I think that those gauss weapons did fit into the game very well, because they had no rl counterparts. I mean hey, they have fusion batterys, so it should not be impossible for them to power a railgun.

It's kinda stupid that they lower/raise the damage that a weapon does based on you skill level. As far as i remember, in all previous FO Games weapon skills did only affect the chance to hit. I guess its another *taken over from Oblivion* feature.

That depends on how close you are to your enemy, because scoped hunting rifles are more accurate at farther distances than they are up close.
