My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Yeah I do very much miss climbing. Especially since you got classes like Acrobat and shit, and burglars. Would have made sense.

Goddammit, I hate being wrong - showrunners fucked New Vegas

Someone did that for NV I think. It brings you down to the regular map, but you could just prepare small scale maps that bring you back to the world map like in the classics when you reach a certain border.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

True, Morrowind was scaled down a lot, but personally I think it was mostly streamlining that was well done. Some stuff could have remained tho, I agree. All in all I think it was improved.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Daggerfall is a very impressive dungeon crawler at its core. Morrowind is where it's at.

Yeah, I've been thinking that. Kinda like how it worked in the classics.

Crimson Caravan sends caravans directly to Necropolis, they get some trading value apparently.

Notes on Fallout TV (Return to the Nolanverse complete, Review notes complete)

It was funny in the first episode because it came out of left field, but they repeated the formula way too much.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Pretty sure you can get to Necropolis with a caravan tho. It's scaled down, sure, but it doesn't make the attempt to show anything scaled down, either. It's at most implied like in the 2D fallouts, and that doesn't fly in a 3D world that isn't abstracted. They learned in Skyrim and Fallout 4...

Notes on Fallout TV (Return to the Nolanverse complete, Review notes complete)

Which aren't all that impactful. Bo from Superstore just casually walks around with a mangled foot (yes, CT, he's limping a bit), takes off his boot and sock off his foot where the toes are only held on by skin, open bones and everything. Then he puts it all back on with maybe the noise Peter...

So I watched the first episode of the Fallout TV show.......

Again, at the Vault-Tec hq, asked to be there by Vault-Tec, led by Vault-Tec and following a plan laid out by Vault-Tec.

Notes on Fallout TV (Return to the Nolanverse complete, Review notes complete)

I don't think Fallout was always a black comedy. Fallout 1 had some humorous moments, but all in all it took itself rather seriously. Fallout 2 went a bit overboard with the cheeky pop culture references and jokes, but it still took itself seriously. The presentation was not a comedy. It was...

    Vault-Tec Map, Fallout TV Show

Sure, but any crazy evil experiment is still just a regular Florida Man day. Getting dosed with FEV and turned into a super mutant? It's just government PCP mixed with STD, Florida Man has done both aplenty. Clones? Florida Man never breeds outside his bloodline anyway. Haha, Gaaary.

Hey, get something started and I'll go along with writing since I can't do anything else like programming or art stuff.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

The super mutant army raided caravans at least, Necropolis had traders coming in as well. New Reno had some farms outside the city, I think. But yeah, not every city is self sufficient. Also, the isometric perspective is by nature more abstract together with the limited maps. You don't get to...

Goddammit, I hate being wrong - showrunners fucked New Vegas

Yeah, but I'd rather use my free time doing an in depth PnP than trying to do things with that engine it wasn't made for. My personal vision for a 3D Fallout would involve a realistic map size and the classic world map style fast travel. The latter has been implemented for NV, but making a...

    Vault-Tec Map, Fallout TV Show

Bethesda just lacked the imagination necessary to come up with a vault experiment that was more than just an ordinary day in the life of Florida Man.

Sure. Personally, I'd rather try and restore Van Buren than working on FPS mechanics, but yeah, sure, a TC could help.

What positive is there about Fallout 3? I liked the general art design. They nailed the architecture and I was generally happy with their 3D interpretation of the world. But, uh, beyond that? I didn't like the story. I didn't like the gameplay. I didn't like the lore or the worldbuilding. I have...

The Male Sole Survivor from Fallout 4 is Canonically a War Criminal

Where do you kill children in Fallout 4? I guess there'd be children in the Institute if you blow it up, and maybe on the Prydwen, but I haven't actually seen any in either place.

Maximus' reaction? Fucker hasn't shown a single reaction in the entire season besides sometimes a light smile when he realises he can be mean to someone.
