8/10 While not my favourite track of his, you can't go wrong with Screamin' Jay. This one's a bit outlandish even for him. Well not really. William Shatner and Ben Folds' cover of "Common People" is great and much better than Pulp's original. Change my mind.

Nice. 9/10. Coincidentally, I discovered some nordic electronic music today: (Slight epilepsy and NSFW warning. If it bothers you, watch in a backgrund tab or use the audio-only link, this one is longer, too)

Is Fallout 2 requiring much of minmaxing?

No, the game checks against the highest-skilled party member only. According to Per's guide: If an NPC has a higher Outdoorsman value than yours it will be used automatically while travelling. This will probably only make a slight difference if any: the only one of them who has a significant...

10/10 love Com Truise. One of my favourite synthwavers. Here's one of my favourite surf bands: Their instrumentals are top notch. Unfortunately they let her sing sometimes and she's not great. The thick Russian accent doesn't help.

Headline seems a bit confrontational, maybe, but it's a good article. I see nothing wrong with it, it's not pro-gun copypasta crap. Humans are extremely bad at risk assessment. David Ropeik does not make a case against gun control or for more guns being the solution: In conclusion: What's...

Depth of Field and Motion Blur. Yes or No?

Shallow depth of field is for photography, still or otherwise. In games, I want to decide for myself what my eyes will focus on, especially in shooters. Worst offender that comes to mind was Wolfenstein TNO, where standing right in front of an open door would blur out everything behind it. And...

    Who are all you people?

This is most likely a spambot who just copied an existing thread (hilariously, it really was posted by @Serifan originally) to seem less suspicious. The spam links will come later.

Better arm all the kids, too, in case armed teachers start shooting.

SuA was obviously just here to enlighten the unwashed NMA plebs with his rock-solid "so true it's as obvious as the moon orbiting the earth duh" knowledge, not to actually debate or anything. Debating is for people whose every statement isn't undisputable gospel.

I don't expect you to follow my every argument and refute everything I link. I linked one thing. And asked you for evidence for one specific questionable statement said link was posted in reply to. HOW UNREASONABLE OF ME.

    Gun Control

Really, that's it? Comparing a non-trivial claim to "the moon orbits the earth"? I'm not being obnoxious, I provided a rebuttal with a link, which you dismissed out of hand without providing anything in return. You're just playing the pigeon chess tactic and I seriously doubt that you just don't...

This is not an opinion: "Israel had a terrorist & school shooter problem, up until they started to allow teachers and janitors to go about their job armed. After that? No real issue remained." It's either a fact or not. If it's a fact, there's gotta be evidence. Otherwise it's either a blatant...

    Gun Control

I totally forgot that random anecdotes are the only really reliable kind of evidence. "Guns aren't there" was never the argument. There's just no real evidence for your claim that Israeli schools are an example of "more guns will fix it".

    Gun Control

I think I once saw a survey involving criminals and those who used guns in their crimes often stated self-defence as a main reason. A more heavily armed populace might lead to more heavily armed criminals. And of course a larger pool of available guns, since gun theft is a major source for...

Including live nuclear warheads? Yeah, I don't think so. Dirty bombs are less effective in killing people than regular bombs.
