My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

I thought about this for a bit and the only possibility of it being right is if there are some random encounter enemies named Mindless Ghouls, but I spent 30 minutes traveling all around Necropolis on the world map and didn't get any encounter like that.

    GOG's Post-apocalyptic games sale

GOG is having a post-apocalyptic games sale for the next 6 days or so. It's a perfect time to grab some cheaper post-apoc games you might be missing in your collection, like ATOM, Underrail, Age of Decadence, or many other games. https://www.gog.com/en/promo/20240423_postapo_sale

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

In Fallout 2, the ghouls that attack on sight are called crazies as seen on these screenshots I just took while playing the game (for some reason FO2 screenshots come out small, I think it might be because of the hi-res patch): And they can use shotguns and I think one used a frag grenade in...

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Nope, they were just mutated humans that had radiation burns all over their bodies, couldn't run or move very fast (because their bodies were fragile), were immune to radiation (and felt comfortable in radiated places IIRC), couldn't reproduce and don't age. They still needed human medicine to...

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

I think he might still have it, the problem was that The Outer Worlds team he was on was hard to work with and would make a fuss if he asked for anything to be made or implemented. He mentioned something like that in one of his videos and said that after the pushback he got the first time, he...

How would you do a Fallout Show?

I wouldn't do a fallout show. For me, the Fallout universe is great because of all the mysteries and unknowns about the world. It makes us guess and think about stuff not explained in the games. Fallout for me should have always been only a few core games and that's it, with maybe a few...

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

You can just make a new post after that reply. If they post something relevant to your edit, you can say "Check the edit on my previous post" or something similar. No one will judge you or think bad of you for doing this.

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

You can use the "Reply" option (over the "Rad" button on the bottom right of a post) on different posts and the forum will copy/quote them all into your message (just like I did now). Then you can just write your individual replies under each quote (or under all quotes) appropriately. You don't...

How does one handle coming back to the RPG (Fallout 2 for an ex.) after a long time.

I just restart. My memory is so bad that I can forget almost everything I did in a game if I don't play it for a week...

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

Emil said that some stuff from Tactics is canon, so now we know who has more power over canon at Bethesda. :lmao:

Would you have rather gotten Van Buren but no New Vegas?

Makes sense you would have only heard of real-time, I think the Van Buren Tech Demo only has real-time working. To know about turn-based we would have to dig out Van Buren's related material, like old interviews and forum posts. Here are a few quotes that can be found here on NMA: This next...

Would you have rather gotten Van Buren but no New Vegas?

I only go turn-based in Tactics because I play it solo with a melee/unarmed character. If I played real time I wouldn't be able to go far in that game.

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

It does affect the enjoyment of those who love Fallout 4, since in Fallout 4 Nate is pretty much a goody-two-shoes (unless you go the evil route in Nuka World DLC, I guess), this probably shocked a lot of players who see Nate as a representation of themselves (which seems to be what many RPG...

Would you have rather gotten Van Buren but no New Vegas?

The game would have options for both RTWP and turn-based combat. And the developers said the focus was on turn-based, they even had a couple of teams play the PnP version of it.

Canon Is What YOU Make Of It, Not What You're Told.

At least Marvel comics explain breaking canon by making those stories happen in different universes and having the Multiversal Cycle (the death and renewal of a particular universe). And they have proper canon and history for why those things happen too. :lmao:

Canon Is What YOU Make Of It, Not What You're Told.

You forgot to include the scripts for all cancelled Fallout games: Fallout Tactics 2, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2, Van Buren (Fallout 3), Fallout Extreme and Project V13 (cancelled MMO). Now with all of these, the Fallout canon is perfect!

I won't watch it, since I don't have any streaming subscription service.

My two cents: How bethesda should unfuck itself.

Judging by their track record... No. Starfield is the Bethesda "original" PC game (not a different version of the same game like the several Skyrim versions) with lower player ratings on Metacritic, Fallout 4 is the second lowest, so the trend seems to be that Bethesda games have been getting...

My two cents: How bethesda should unfuck itself.

It wouldn't work on consoles. And Bethesda games make tons of profit on consoles. :deal:
