GamesRadar - The Infinite Potential of Fallout 3

My assumption is the 50's music from the first Fallout game, not the game play music. Though it sure sounds like the ambient muzak is included by the way article is worded.

    Gstaff clarifies 24-hour town pacification

I'm sure if you blow up Megaton and wait 72 hours, everyone in Megaton will forgive you. That or everyone is dead except Megaton's children that rise from the ashes. (or is it okay to kill children as long as it's through an atomic bomb? My guess is that Megaton is absent of children.)...

Interplay Website launched, hires Chris Taylor

Yikes, this is the most excited I've been about Fallout in years, and I'm only moderately excited. I remember reading that a few of the original developers of Fallout were interested in they dynamics of MMO's and wanted to introduce new elements to the genre. Even though it's interplay, this...

    Fallout 3: Tools of Survival

The old 10mm SMG had a certain charm to it; such as, its bulkiness, the rounded bottom of the clip, and the SMG "spray" sound it made when fired. This one feels like a chopped mp5, kinda disappointed that the original didn't make the transition.

Shacknews Impressions and Vault Dweller's Guide Scans

Times New Roman? Eeek! All around, I love the feel of this. It's well done.

Prima Official Game Guide: Collector's Edition

I bought a guide once, for Turok on the N64. The guide had an awesome cheat I couldn't find anywhere else. This was a time when a guide was closer in reach than an internet connection. I bought it, immediately brought it home, and entered the code. Turns out it was a complete fake. I never...

Guy on blog: let's be mean to Bethesda

Some times if people don't make a comotion about something, nothing gets done at all. Strike, protest, getting involved, voting, they're all tools to get change to happen. If there's one thing in life I've learned, if you want something to happen, make it so.

    New screenshots

What I think Beth should have done (and who knows, maybe they did) was pick a few locations in the DC area where different sized atomic bombs went off and design the destruction path based on where the bombs' shockwave was. Such as, going from a crater, to rubble, to burnt foundations, to...

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

No problem for the snip, but just for the record, it was bonustime that came with that quote. I agree, it works with the clear cut 1950's mentality. Come to think of it, if everyone was raised in a very orderly Vault it would probably end up that way. Though I found the quote amusinly ironic...

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

Ah yes, I do like that one better. Ya know I was thinking about all the mutated enemies we've been seeing. Shouldn't they look a bit more.. mutated? Such as the radroaches, they just look like upscaled roaches. I wanna see bubbles under the skin, growths, discolorations, wounds, dead limbs...

7 ways to spot an impending crap sequel

Found here. Basically this is one of games radar's many '7 list' articles. However, after reading through these, it seems Fallout 3 hit 5 out of 7 of the complaints. Fallout 3 was mentioned (though only once) in the "A Classic Franchise Rebooted." I'm surprised the guy didn't simply list...

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

I actually liked the dialogue options there, reminded me of some parts of Fallout. Though I do agree with Blazerfrost, there should be a 'lie' option. "I saved him, but he couldn't live with the thought of his son being a worthless weakling."

    Fallout 3 giant action figures

It's not the T-51b, so unfortunately they can change it all they want. Though I'm not at too many odds on how it looks.

Fallout 3 & Penny Arcade Comics

There were a few Fallout themed comics involving interplay's demise, I'll keep searching for them unless some one posts it faster than I. Edit- Here's a two: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/07/02/ http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/07/14/ Though I could have sworn there was...

    Fallout 3 Hands-Ons #10

They were all mentioned in PC Gamer US. Though you're right, the exact number of points and percentages weren't mentioned.

    Fallout 3 DLC Exclusivity speculation

I agree that game companies aren't politics or evil empires, basically all Bethesda is doing with payable online content is fishing. They're putting a line out, if something bites, it bites. If not, no big loss. They already sold the game, right? I respectfully disagree that moral choices...

    Fallout 3 DLC Exclusivity speculation

I could sleep with my best friend's wife and feel I've gained something, however it doesn't make it right that I screwed over my friend. Morality is defined by the individual, society bases their laws on popular moral beliefs. Sure, if the town racist wants all the minorities dead, that...

    Fallout 3 DLC Exclusivity speculation

So I suppose the creation of Fallout: BOS was okay because Interplay thought it would make more money making a spinoff then making, say, a good reputable sequel? It all depends on what you desire most, personally I would rather help the world than rob it. We, the gaming industry consumers...

haha, apparently everyone on that video's comments thinks he's 'so serious.' Man that was a good laugh.
