Maybe I'm a selfish asshole American - but all I really care about is peace here. All I want to do is work hard on the weekdays and drink beers with my friends on the weekends. If 'war' in Iraq/Afganistan/Iran keeps nukes from falling in my backyard - then IMO its comletely justified.

War in Iraq and War in Afganistan are 2 different fronts. And we went to each country for different reasons.

I really liked Semi-Pro. Sure you could make the argument that Will Farrell movies are the same shit over and over again; but that 'same shit' is hilarious. For movies like that, you gotta know what your getting into. If you expect too much from a movie, you might as well not go.

Nuclear power is awesome but it's definitely the red headed step child of energy sources in the U.S. - mostly because of the waste it produces (lack of storage places + waste itself being dangerous). Thats one of the reason that most of our nuclear plants are decades old.

I believe coal is the fossil fuel that is the biggest supplier of electricity to homes/businesses in the U.S. Also the US has one of the biggest supplies of coal in the world. It's the oil we're coming up short on.

Not all the way - solar panels are expensive and electric cars have sub standard performance.

I have plenty of friends in the states. And I don't really have a burning desire to go to other countries for vacation (maybe Mexico a few more times - but they are so desperate for my money, they can't treat me like shit :) ) So other countries can hate away - not going to alter my life...
