The aspect of Fallout 3 that i liked better then New Vegas

I'm kind of odd in this regard, if I may say so, only heard of Fallout because of Fallout 3 but bought, played and loved Fallout 2 before Fallout 3 then hit the shelves.

I'd support Ceasars Legion except [Insert answer here]

I suggest you speak to him again, he explicitally states that the war with the NCR will change the Legion, he also wants to change the Legion from a nomadic tribe to a standing army, with New Vegas as the capital.

Things that make you go hmmmm

We don't know that, and given that a vast array of civilian vehicles that had fission engines then I don't see why a prototype military ginship being built during an oil crisis shouldn't. We don't know that refuelling meant Oil.

Things that make you go hmmmm

Well a lot of people have forgotten the Enclave, especially in the NCR.

    Lonesome Road speculation

Actually the one in the logs is Whitley whilst this new one is Whitely (as I was kindly told on the Vault). But given the new infomation about ED-E I mean that's more than just a coinsidence. Ha! I knew it, after all this time am I finally going to be thrown a fucking bone in these DLCs!?

    Lonesome Road speculation

The Divide was created by the remains of a Big MT meteological experiment.

    Bear Force One

I hypothesised in my fan-fic once that the Brotherhood didn't even enter, but rather attacked NCR Ranger teams who had Enclave POWs. I know that the Remnants didn't implicate the Brotherhood in the initial assault and will go by their word; of course we will never know the full facts but I would...

    Bear Force One

Did they? I remember hearing that the Brotherhood joined in the looting afterwards, tracking down the survivors for their Power Armour; but I've never heard the Remnants mention a combined assualt.

    Problems with Independent Ending

They aren't allies, one of the Tops guys is plotting to overthrow House and competely on his own - much to the shock of his second. The Omertas? Yeah I'll give you that. House didn't make the Ultra Luxe crowd cannibals, in-fact he did his best to reform them and succeeded until one guy...

    Problems with Independent Ending

House isn't an unqualified leader who just roped people into alliances by doing them favours. He has money, an existing infastructure and a long term plan.

    Bear Force One

Where would they be outside of Navarro or maybe the Brotherhood? I can't imagine a fight with either would leave much left to rob.

    Problems with Independent Ending

Unless those people aren't you friends :3. I help the Legion personally, I think that they suck but whatever keeps hurting the NCR is game in my book.

    Bear Force One

Yeah, I might have got the impression that they were just going to shuffle them off. I mean they did seem to be more powerful and advanced than they should be, taking about making Vertibirds (where?) and making nuclear fission reactors. Felt like New Vegas was trying to tone these things down to...

    Bear Force One

I would say that they got them from the Enclave as IIRC, the Shi aren't even referenced once in Fallout: New Vegas. Spoils of the Battle of Navarro, NCR fucks.

If you were going to be put on an island....

Christ that is bad, a doctor and learned women and apparently enough people were searching for fucking Moria Brown that they needed a redirect? Also who the hell looks for specific game characters on Wikipedia, are people just completely oblivious to the Vault? Probably for the best actually :3

    Problems with Independent Ending

The independant ending really is puzzling, I said it to everyone who thought Elder Lyon's would make a good leader and I'll say it again; military experience, hell - not even that in the Courier's case - the ability to shoot people up does not necessarily translate to effective civilian leader.

    Dethroned Princess

Well at least you can do something to the fuckers, not like you can just vapourise the little fucker with a Yuma Flatts Pulse Rifle anymore is it? Ah, old times at the Den...

The aspect of Fallout 3 that i liked better then New Vegas

I know right? I mean seriously, wouldn't it have been cheaper just to make an original title? Was the Fallout fanbase really that big as to justify all the licencing costs; especially when the game was made to appeal to Oblivion's fanbase - as I was apart of at the time - ?

The aspect of Fallout 3 that i liked better then New Vegas

Same, if a place is supposed to be after a nuclear war - maybe not 200 years but I digress - then I have no problem with it being a littloe rundown and grey; it's part of the territory.
