Nicolas Winding Refn's "Valhalla Rising". I just recently saw it and i was stunned. A violent, psychedelic trip into the mind of a viking slave. Great. Very minimalistic set and script - Refn lets the pictures and the awesome landscapes talk - which works even if you're a fan of action movies...
