    African Gray parrot

I love parrots. They're awesome and one of the few kinds of birds that I don't hate and wish to shoot, burn, devour, or otherwise destroy. Good luck with it, and take good care of that thing. From what little I know, parrots can be very high maintenance. It was probably better off. alec likely...

When did you buy it? There's some stipulations.

200? I wonder what the increase is about.

    Windows 7

Windows 2000, actually, IIRC. Previous systems (NT 4.0 etc, don't know about non-NT systems) had Disk Administrator. Yeah, a ~100mb partition. I'm not sure, but I believe it does this only if you have it make a new partition to install to.

    WPA-TKIP Cracked

Fun times: accessing someone's router and changing their SSID to something like "CHILD PORNOGRAPHY." I did that to a friend, actually. He kept it.

    WPA-TKIP Cracked

Oh, them crazy Japaneseses. WPA2 with MAC address filtering here. I like to think I'm pretty safe.

    Windows 7

Anyone can run a VM, but you need a processor with virtualization support for 7's XP mode with its fancy no-separate-VM-desktop-needed.... ness. Shouldn't be a problem for most people with decent computers, though, since most modern processors that aren't of the budget bracket have this...

    Building a PC

It's a somewhat well-known problem, Wes. It can be "solved" by turning off DirectDraw acceleration, but that really shouldn't have to be necessary in the first place, or by changing a few in-game settings that make the game run like crap. Correctly, but like crap. I had the same problem...

    What game was this?

I'll take your turn if you don't mind. :D Another easy one. I played the shit out of this when I was in first grade.

    Building a PC

Much better than Nvidia, I think. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to play Infinity Engine games without graphical corruption and other shit when I made the switch from an 8800 GTS to a HD 4850. With the 8800, I had all sorts of problems with Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment...

    Mad Nation premieres

All I can say is that, out of all the movie trailers I've seen, that one is definitely the most recent.

    Outlander.

I remember watching this. It was fucking stupid, but really entertaining. I giggled when the priest was like "BEGONE LUCIFER!" and then the alien tore his shit up.

    Todd Howard talks

I'm pretty sure the new Wolfenstein was mostly Raven Software's thing, but id and a couple other developers "helped" with it.

Hahaha... No, no relation to the Nickelodeon 'toon that I know of, although I liked that show too.

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Still playing GRID, and the "Serious" difficulty level is getting too easy. I shouldn't be able to do this Although, I did have to use all three of my flashback-do-over thingies because the LMP2 cars behind me thought that passing me on the inside of a corner was a good idea, which usually...

    Windows 7

If you haven't already, open up the Computer Management console (right-click "Computer" on your start menu and click "Manage" on the context menu, if you don't know how) and then select the Disk Management utility. See if you didn't accidentally install to the wrong partition like a friend of...
