Fallout: New Vegas - Metro 2033 screenshot comparison

books?.. Am I missing something here? EDIT: Also, meant to ask on the powder ganger screenshot comparison is that some sort of mod or result of a perk on the on the right hand side of the HUD? (top and bottom, I assuming the bottom is per an anatomy/awareness perk but the top right options...

    Fallout: New Vegas wallpapers

I think there's little chance of that with the low-tech aspect considering new vegas and it's vault were essentially untouched by the fall and we already know new reno pretty much survived intact. whether or not new vegas and their vault were picked clean by opportunists is another story but...

    DotCorp invests in Interplay

Since we all know that's not going to happen anyway or probably already would've a long time it's kind of a moot point

Urquhart Inside the Vault, MCA Outside It

Ya, I know what you mean, I never bothered until i'd maxed out my primary skills, and even then made no sense other than to heal the pc without a town doc. so, altogether, yes a useful skill in context but rarely ever useful. I think i just used rad-x on the guy in that quest and i mean it was...

Fallout: New Vegas hits preorder charts, F3 DLC sales

Well, that's kind of an interesting though given FO:3's commercial success. I'm thinking ya that's totally plausible that FO3 could have a huge impact on the future of the elder scrolls series

    Brian Fargo Interview

Stackpole, Pavlish, St. Andre and Fargo are often seen as the fathers of Wasteland. If he called Wasteland his baby, that'd make sense. It makes no sense for Fallout, spiritual sequel or no. Thanks BN for the clarification, again the sperm donor comment would be more relevant.

    Brian Fargo Interview

I did a little research based on the wikis (I obviously don't claim to know more) and as far as I can tell Fargo was a designer on 'Wasteland' (like you mentioned, so I'm thinking he had a lot of input) and not to mention with Michael A. Stackpole (phenomenal fing writer btw), so the 'my baby'...

    Fallout: New Vegas screenshots

Why do you say fudged up? At the time FO2 came out I think they tried pretty hard to get in some good, cutting edge modern weaponry. I don't think anyone can disagree that the weapon base needed to be expanded at that point anyway.

J.E. Sawyer on key dialogue writing concepts

Ya, wow man. I'd want to spend money on that oblivibeth crap. In fact what this reminds me of is the old 'keyword' responses you would get from NPC's in text based games and were next to near impossible to get any meaningful dialogue from them unless you hit on exactly the right keyword, so...

Ah, I really do miss those days. especially with laser rifles the range on those things was incredible.

    Sightseeing in Fallout: New Vegas

Ya, I think I remember something along those lines as well. That kind of poses the question has anyone ever stripped all of the dialog (option trees/ potential responses) and ever put it out in a text/ document file. Before I get told to search, I'm more curious in the complexities if any of...

A New "I Am Legend" Movie

I actually wouldn't mind seeing it, of course as long as there's no ridiculous tertiary character that goes back into the wastes (ie mila kunis) to re-invent humanity or whatever that point was lost on me.
