Im a bit of a gun nut and the weapon crafting system drove me nuts it was totally unrealistic for instance you can change the receiver on the hunting rifle to .50 caliber WITHOUT changing the barrel. You cant fire a 50 cal round through a 308 barrel the bullet is too large to pass through

I didnt really have a problem with not cluttering up the screen with a bunch of people you cant interact with

I like GTA also but rampaging does get boring after about 10 minutes, the missions and story / cut scenes make the game.

It all depends on $$$ if New Vegas met or exceeded their expectations they have a good chance to do another game. I do think a spinoff game is very likely given that Bethesda likes to do one thing at a time and will likely be doing something elder scrolls related for the forseeable future...

I dont like some of the things Ive seen on the surface but Im reserving judgement until more info is available. Im sure it wont be New Vegas but if its somewhere between FO3 and NV I would consider that a win. I do plan on buying the game, probably the day it comes out as Im sure I will enjoy...

As a fan of FO3 I will say that I think alot of the criticism of FO3 is valid, especially when weighed against New Vegas which produced a far better game IMO while working with the same tools but some of the complaints are a little silly (tunnel snake jackets anyone?) Beth did some things good...
