Skills in Fallout 4: What We Know

Since skills are being replaced with a combination of perks and special I would imagine there could still be checks that would require a perk or special points

Think a voiced protagonist is a bad idea? Here's Bethesda's reasoning!

I liked the pitt and the end was morally in the gray area but new vegas it was not. If Ashur and Werner had been developed more it would have made the decision that much more difficult. In the NV DLCs the characters were much more developed.

Think a voiced protagonist is a bad idea? Here's Bethesda's reasoning!

Im not saying its a good idea, im just saying that its theoretically possible to have more dialouge options. Will they? Probably not

Think a voiced protagonist is a bad idea? Here's Bethesda's reasoning!

Hey Moyra, do you have any items to trade? - opens trade menu About my current mission - why are you writing this book + 3 more options Can you do repairs? - opens repair menu Any news about Megaton? - Have you thought about disarming the bomb? + 3 more options It can be done + maybe the barter...

    Fallout 4 Story Conjectures

The pitt was grey, granted it was executed perfectly but the choice at the end most certainly wasnt black and white like most of their work. Maybe we will see more grey or at least less blinding white. Im not holding my breath but theres a small chance

Think a voiced protagonist is a bad idea? Here's Bethesda's reasoning!

Most of the dialouge in FO 3 and NV had 3 or 4 paths you could go down so the wheel might not necessarily limit the speech options any more than they were in the past. I liked mass effect for what it was and I like the idea of combining action with RPG but not if the RPG elements are really...

Shamus Young "The Blistering Stupidity of Fallout 3"

The kings were explained alot better than the tunnel snakes were. The kings also played a much larger role in NV than the snakes did in FO3. The tunnel snakes are rather insignificant in FO3 and as such they dont get much of a back story.

Skills in Fallout 4: What We Know

How excited are you for Fallout 4?

If all the skills are present and its ranks instead of points it wouldnt be majorly different, you presumably would still be able to determine your characters strengths and weaknesses as you level up

How excited are you for Fallout 4?

Ive only seen the one that says "science level 2 req" but ill take your word for it. If thats the case I would be disappointed on the surface it would seem to be a dumbing down of the game but Im still going to reserve judgement until more info is out.

Shamus Young "The Blistering Stupidity of Fallout 3"

almost any work of fiction is going to have some minor inconsistencies, im sure if I wanted to dedicate the time I could find a few in the black isle / obsidian fallouts as well The major problems with FO3 are there, there isnt really need to nitpick the trivial

Shamus Young "The Blistering Stupidity of Fallout 3"

Quests were shallow, dialouge was shallow and companions were shallow = all legit complaints Tunnel snake jackets = who gives a shit
