    Is Christianity wrong?

I think it was Cormac McCarthy who wrote in Sunset Limited (paraphrased): Who would suffer through this life if not for the fear of the next. I thought it was an apt description of religion.

    Is Christianity wrong?

All religion, broadly speaking, originates from the same source. That's why they are so similiar in their nature. Christianity, like all similiar belief systems, are an interesting pieces of fiction for their time(s) and make history interesting, but nothing really more. I don't think there's...

    Fallout 3 poll

I would've liked to vote "I hate it", but if it wasn't called "Fallout" I would've shrugged off the whole thing as a meh. So... "It would be way better if it wasn't called Fallout" it is, even though it wouldn't have been "way better", just more easily negligible.

    ”Fallout fans”

That's a different matter. Selfawareness can be learned and lived with, but one often must be taught to. I'm starting to be too drunk for it.

    ”Fallout fans”

It's a meme of flies and shit. You can't blame the flies for liking it, it's theirs to like. But if in a place of a good chateaubriand you get a turd, the only one to blame is the cook.

Familiar song, but not very catchy to my ear. 6/10

Even though I listen to various styles of music (mostly metal, though), this is one of those I do not. There are very, very few pop songs I can listen to. So I suppose it's a 4/10.

Josh Sawyer talks New Vegas on IGN unfiltered

Indeed would I, along with all the other gameplay conventions that were lost and could've been conditioned to the new style. New Vegas could have been built for that... but it wasn't (and I don't blame Obsidian for that).

Josh Sawyer talks New Vegas on IGN unfiltered

Yeah, it is very much workable. It needs more work towards the original form than what NV was able to give (not gonna go in detail on that here), but it can produce a good game (better than New Vegas). I don't believe it'd ever produce a sequel that could be considered "proper", but there is...

Josh Sawyer talks New Vegas on IGN unfiltered

That's splitting hairs. Of course they would add their own touch to the game, things they think would work for the better, instead of simply producing an assembly line sequel (which is almost what they did). I don't think Josh means "aimed strictly to these folks and nobody else", but rather...

Josh Sawyer talks New Vegas on IGN unfiltered

I don't think it's quite that black and white. It's "enough" of a copy/paste job to pass. Introducing few new (old) things and fitting them in doesn't really make Sawyer a hypocrite in this regard.

    Bad movies you love?

I liked that one. :D --------------------------------------- Here's another. I remember this being quite scary when I was a kid. I think the tagline was "Jaws on hooves". :D

Sequels that are at least debatbly better than their predecessors? (All genres and mediums)

I always felt otherwise. Same with Alien and Aliens. With both series', the first movies were more like rather minimalistic, but effective scifi horror flicks. The second entries, both by Cameron, went more towards a grandiose action spectacle (both great movies, but... kind of off in tone...

    Your earliest memory about gaming?

First digital game I played. Somewhere around '86 and '88 I think. It was my sisters game, but she didn't like it so I got it. We used to have competitions over who'll last longer. I still have it somewhere (or, I don't remember tossing it away).

Whats the best part of Classic Fallout?

I can't name a singular "best part". The old Fallout's were more like sums of their parts. It's not the lore alone, it's not the C&C and writing alone, it's not the character systems and gameplay or combat alone.... What made the classics classics was how well the parts played together and how...

Josh Sawyer talks New Vegas on IGN unfiltered

No need to list me the differences. I know what they are. I’m just saying that the claim is perfectly reasonable when you look at the game as a whole (an easy sandbox shooter with some story and choice), even if it is not a wholesale copypaste job. Part of the Beth audience (as well as part of...

Josh Sawyer talks New Vegas on IGN unfiltered

It does enough. The game is similiar enough in all ways that matter, while the obvious Obsidian touch is there (for better or worse for the Bethesda audience).

    I like fallout 3

    I don't. I haven't played it since 2009, and never will again.

Which historical era would you choose to set an rpg in.

Nothing older than the eighteenhundreds. I can't stand the ancient to medieval styled stuff anymore, it bores me to no end. I'd like to see a game taking palce during the late industrial revolution and early 20'th century.
