    Lionheart - Any good?

Thanks for that. I'm getting a bad jonesing for a good iso-rpg, and Mutants Rising is too far away for me, so I am kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel here. That said, from what you've said, it might be worth me looking at other games. Thanks for the advice on this, alec.

    Lionheart - Any good?

So, every now and again, I hear about this game, and get around to thinking about it. I've seen it on GOG, and pretty cheap too, but before I spent time on it, I wanted to get your opinions on this game? So, is it any good?

Most hated Fallout 1 or 2 character?

Killian bothered me, althoughit's been so long since I last played, I can't remember specific reasons why. Myron was punchable, as was Lynette. Butch from Far Go Traders, and the guy from Crimson Caravans pissed me off in different ways, but the same amount. Oh, and Sister Jain. Almost forgot...

    I hate "War Never Changes".

As has been said, War is about suffering, cruelty and greed. These things never change, and it is this, along with humanity's hubris that has scarred the world. And having it as a constant, as something that also "never changes" is a nice move, thematically.

If your character had the option to settle down in a F2 town

I'd probably live in Reading. It has a good bar, and bythe end another city gets involved, so you know that city is going places. It'd be an interesting time to be a citizen of Reading.

    Twilight MST

My mother. I managed to compose myself from laughing on seeing the book, said I was very grateful and that I'd read it. Luckily, she also got me Dracula, which is actualy very good. She's an English Literature teacher, and I think she was aware that this was a popular book, and I've liked...

    Twilight MST

For 15 pages...yes. Got it for my birthday, and thought I'd make good use. Then a friend downloaded a PDF for me. It became less torturous then. Trying to get the willpower to start Chapter 2.

    Twilight MST

By your "If it makes money, it must be good" attitude, Fallout 3 was good. You're on timeout. Sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

    Twilight MST

Yes! If you stop drinking next year, then the much coveted prize of "most drunken moron of 2009" will finally be mine! And to think the most drunked moron of 2009 prize has eluded me every past year! VICTORY! *Ahem* I've seen some MSTs which use diferent riffers. Most MSTs seem to use...

    Twilight MST

Eh, it's my first attempt at it. Sorry for the lack of clarity. Message was posted as I'd just finished, and Twilight is a terrible drain on the brain. I think I lost brain cells just trying to read it the first time, let alone MST it.

    Twilight MST

It's not massively out of context. That's a complete excerpt, and is the entire Prologue to the book. It's apallingly written. Admittedly, I've done stuff like running with the bit where it reads like he's masturbating: Later on... So yeah, some stuff has been taken out of context, but...

You hate the adding one-liners in italics style of writing, or Stephanie Meyer's style of writing?

    Twilight MST

I recently finished 'MSTing' (Making fun of bad writing, in a similar fashion to how the show Mystery Science theater 3000 made fun of bad movies) the first chapter of Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer. How the fetid prose was published, let alone became a bestseller is beyond me. That said, Fallout...

    Who is VATS for?

It's a case of the game's identity crisis, in my opinion. The game seems unsure of what it wants to be at the best of times. Taking elements from shooters, BS games and every now and again, if we're lucky, Fallout, seemingly at random. It's them trying to make an element of the fallout system...

    Biggest Problem With Fallout 3?

LIKE THAT. Operative term in that sentence. I'm talking games with more depth than your standard console game. It's not neccesarily a knock on the consoles, but the simple games for console gamers are what's hurting the market for pure cRPGs. But you're right. This is a dumb argument. Dumb...
