Anyone know if the recent patch on Steam impacts installation or playability of the Restoration Project? There's now an "HD" version that automatically includes the Hi-Res patch.

That's what I thought. Interesting - they've made some strange decisions then, as almost all of the recruits have been changed to have at least one "rubbish" skill - almost all recruits have melee and/or science tagged. Oh yes - and stats were changed around for lots of people too. Now...

Has anyone who's used the Fallout collection DVD experienced recruits who have skills and traits that are different from the original versions? For instance, I looked at Mandy's character sheet and she no longer has the Gifted or Skilled traits, and she has melee tagged as a skill instead of...

Well, I just ordered the Interplay version today. Suppose we'll find out soon enough how it works.

Let me know how the DVD works. I've been considering purchasing it, but I've heard mixed reviews, like that it won't run on some DVD-drives.

While we're at it... A quick search on Amazon shows two different Fallout Collections. They look identical to me, but one says the publisher is Global Software Publishing, the other says Interplay. The only other difference I see is that sellers start at a lower price for the GSP version...
