Check on page 80 of this topic. Basically it says to right-click on your exe file and uncheck compatability mode, which I believe the gog version sets the game to. Hope this one helps :D

This is not meant as an insult, but is your printer hooked up. That print to file button looks for a printer. I found this out by accidentally hitting it myself ( I don't have a printer) and the game crashed. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that could have caused it.

also try installing the encounter rate fix found on the first page of this thread in killap's first entry. I was also getting some random crashes until I installed this. Make sure you say yes when it asks you if you want to overwrite the existing files. Hope this helps 'cause this is One GREAT...
