Does Punk rock exist in the Fallout universe?

I would assume that it did, but in small pockets of underground counter-culture. After the war, whoever actually has the means to be a musician may or may not take a liking to it.

If you had to live in a Fallout game, where would you want to live?

Either Vegas, one of the nicer vaults, or Vault City. Not that any sound like heaven, but they're worlds better than the alternatives.

Shouldn't the ghouls also fear radiation?

Then you accept Bethesda's notion that everyone has FEV, and that it somehow mixes with radiation everywhere.

Shouldn't the ghouls also fear radiation?

Possibly one of the only things Bethesda did right was removing that 'F.E.V. and radiation' crap that some of Black Isle's directors debated about. I've always believed that ghouls were simply the product of heavy doses of radiation activating a hidden gene within a small amount of people. It's...

How many GECKs there are supposed to be?

I like to consider the Black Isle vaults to be more of the result of tragic failures or disasters with the occasional social experiment (most were probably 'control vaults' anyways). For example: according to Van Buren, Vault 70 in Salt Lake City, Utah, had three G.E.C.K.s. I'm guessing a nearby...

A new Fallout game? Fallout 1.5: Resurrection's english version is out!

I seem to have gone through all of the dialogue I possibly can with him.

A new Fallout game? Fallout 1.5: Resurrection's english version is out!

I did all of that and no dialogue option is popping up for confrontation. Really frustrating.

What do you think of Fallout Shelter

The moment I heard some kid saying 'hey, look what happened to my people in fallout bunker', I knew I absolutely hated it.

Fallout 5 Predictions Thread (with EXPLOSIONS!)

Careful everyone, Bethesda may be taking notes.

    Nuka-Cola Discrepancy

Did anyone else notice this? Yet another contradiction- Nuka-Cola appearing 99+ years before its creation.

Anyone Else think Shoddycast has become a Bethesda Bum-licking channel?

I watched the first few back when they came out in 2014, and I loved the series. I always used to cringe at the voice acting, though...and personifying the 'storyteller' and introducing some 'sidekick' characters made it far, far worse. Not to mention they butchered the lore, put Bethesda above...

    Culture of Fallout

Exactly. One of the game's most interesting designs was its ironic division between the civilized perception of the old world (something Bethesda took way too literally) and the truth of the anarchy that broke out in the days before the Great War and afterwards. There was always this 'every may...

A video on the Brexit and why the UK should leave.

I'm not looking to start any debates or anything, just sharing my thoughts on the matter. Personally, I'm elated that the British finally stood up and said 'no' to the communists attacking their way of life. I hope that in November, we too can prove that we're strong enough to fight the mad...

    Culture of Fallout

If we're going by Black Isle standards: The pre-war world actually more closely resembles the 1980s, with motorcycle football and leather jackets being all the rage for some reason. Counter-culture is actually quite prevalent- there's gangs, hackers, hippies, all that sort of thing. Also...

Official Canon V. Your Personal Fanon

Here's a description for the Plasma Pistol from Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics: "The Austrian made Glock 86 plasma pistol (also referred to as the Plasma Defender), was designed before the Great War by the Gaston Glock artificial intelligence." Interpret it as you will, but I'd say...

Official Canon V. Your Personal Fanon

The Legion is in Denver, and the Midwestern Brotherhood is in Cheyenne Mountain (or beyond). Guess who's going to meet up soon? This may be off-topic, but does anyone remember that Gaston Glock's consciousness was transferred into an AI, and that he continued to design guns in that form? It's...

Official Canon V. Your Personal Fanon

Interesting. I like that theory. I always just figured that less-knowledgeable wastelanders saw 'vault' as a word to be applied to any bunker, but that gives some interesting insight into the ideology of the Midwestern Brotherhood.
