2 Questions strange elevator in fakllout 1 and toxic cave el

1st. where dose that strange elevator in the catedrals vault lead to its on the 3rd floor it wont open 8)

2.the levator in the toxic caves where you have to fix the generator how much repair skill do i need

That elevator: is that the same one as the level where you meet the Master? If so, it's a 2nd way to end the game (actually, that's the way I ended it.)

i thoguht that elevator lead to the bomb right i did it the other way pure beating the master

You need about 50-60% of repair to fix the generator and a set of electronic lockpics to open the door. Here's a thread where to find them.

Yeah exactly, that door leads to the bomb. First time I went down the Master's tunnel and he Iced me, but the 2nd time I found the bomb and fried him.

Take care, in the 2nd level of the Toxic cave you will find a Sentry Bot armed with Rocket Launcher... be prepared and start combat as soon as you get there!
