First time posting. I've been reading up on progress for Fallout 3 and saw that they are suggesting possibly a 3d engine, but not in 1st person. I'm hoping they keep the 3rd person perspective the same. Fallout is my favorite game series. Nothing comes close. I just finished Planescape Torment and though it was quite good just wasn't the same. I have severe motion sickness which limits me to 3rd person games and I would be absolutely heartbroken if I couldn't play Fallout 3. (Ok so I don't have much of a life). I know I'm probably getting ahead of myself since production hasn't started yet, I just wanted to make myself heard. If it ain't broke....

Don't worry

If there's one thing that Feargus Urquehart has confirmed time and time again is that if Fallout 3 is going to be developed, it certainly will have a 3d isometric view. You don't have to worry about it being first or third person. No one wants fallout to be wasteland quake or fallout raider.

You're right. But as Shadowman said, they will stick to the 3rd person view. I myself have a visual handicap, so i to like 3rd person. 1st person games aren't impossible for me but a litle harder to play. That is way i am also against real time. For me, personally, it makes those games so much harder because i can't follow the fight as others can. This is certainly the case when you have to fight a whole lot of enemies.

I'm very relieved. Though I would have at least tried to play using dramamine, even though it wouldn't be anywhere as good as a 1st person. Besides there are plenty of those types of games already.
