These are some of those ideas that you get after not sleeping for four days straight, i think they're good...

1 Weapons specificaly for kicking. This is kind of simple, maybe being able to get some steel toed boots, small spikes that can be put on the front of you character's boots, or even a power armor type brace that increases the power of your kick

2 Party members who have armor that you can see them wearing. This could cause a problem when you try to talk to them, but it could be overcome without checking every NPC with the same armor. The party members could have custom armor, say Sulik in power armor might be different because he may paint some of his spiritual markings on it. Of course, this probably would take too much programming.

3 More armor graphics on the character. As you can tell, a leather jacket and a combat leather jacket look different in the inventory, but outside of the inventory they look the same, this happens with all of the armor that has an upgrade. Just saying, make them look different on the character.

Hmmm..... I'm not too sure about that.

Sounds good. More art work yes, but still. It'd be nice.

Moo..... Moo.... I'm an Interplay Cow. (Ready to be milked with a Fallout style MMORPG with aliens!)

1. this could be useful, if you specialize your character in martial arts

2 & 3. this is easily done in 3d. just take the model of lets say armor, and then paint it in grapfics program and import it. same stats, different looksie

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON May-23-02 AT 11:11PM (GMT)[p]they should do armor sort of like they did it in Diablo 2 (without all the magic bullshit). When you put on different armors and different helmets your look changes. i also like the idea of seperating boots, gloves and helmets to individualy add to your armor class and things like that. And some armors would be sets so like if you were wearing power armor you couldnt change your boots because thier built into the armor.

That brings up another idea with, yet again, more programming than Interplay would do. Certain armors could have enhancements, such as more powerful hydraulics and motors for power armor that increase some stats and extra plates or helmets for leather and metal armor.

Perhaps it is their, as you so eloquently put it, their "fuckin" job...but you see they only have a limited time to create the game...And so, would you rather have them create a simple game that works, or an overly ambitious game that does not work because they did not have enough time to fine tune the game before release...

Take a look at Starcraft, the game is pathetically simple, but the game WORKS. Every strategy has a counter...

So, basically what one must do is have a wish list for the game, and features that must be in the game...if everything is complete and fine tuned, then other, less necessary features, can easily be added...

Lol; I get a picture in my head :
sulik wearing power armor pants, rubber boots, and a leather jacket with one sleeve ^_^

Maybe fisherman's hat too, with a fishing hook attached to it. Gna.

Wahoo!!! Ho...ho...ho... Nice to see you again Miroslav...
I agree with number 2&3 but Boots? Well that's good too but for a gunslinger like me?

The problem with boots is, Fallout don't have any different slot for different piece of armor (i.e. helmet, gloves, boots etc) and in FO2 we automatically wore a boot if we got one in inventory. Perhaps let's take the middle way. For certain armor (Power armor, metal Armor) we got extra bonus damage for H+H melee attack. Since a power armor usually got metal boots (What do you expect? Sandals!) this is a little use. What if we got 2 boots to wear? Which one we use?

I Prefer some ancient golfing shoes....
or perhaps ninja shoes (comes with ninja garb) that will make ya walk silently
Or...
Or...
Ore wa..???

How about Bakiak.

Bakiak Sandals!! just like in our college, Big Fat Mama. You know the one they put near Informatics toilet. Basically a wooden plank attached with rubber then you put it under your feet just like an ordinary sandals. Made from carved wood just like dutch klompen.
Weight about 3 pounds each and enough to kill an ordinary dog. Also you could use it as throwing weapon (with distinctive "BLETAK" sound if hit heads).
Cheap, durable, easy to made and useful. Golf shoes? Oh your a psychopath!!!

RE: How about Bakiak.

LOL!!!!

Somehow i think i'm a crazy guy? While people suggesting Minigun or Super Duper Mambo Jambo Plasma gatling, I suggest a 2 cents Wooden Sandals as a weapon. Oh yeah! If you throw Horrigan with these, what you hear probably just "TANG" of his armor. And it's not mine-proof.
