Water Chip? Been There, Done That
A Fallout World Boxing Championship. In FO3 you should be able to make a profession out of boxing. Maybe when you visit a town there is a boxing ring, you talk to some guy and get to box (like FO2). Only difference being that you win money and only a few xp. Also, you never run out of people to box. So you can start out boxing a few weak ass guys and then fight your way up to the World Championship belt (and get a 'Boxer' Karma perk which makes people be a *bit* more afraid of you). Then, once you've got the title, you can defend it against challengers in different cities, maybve travelling the wastelands to about 3 or 4 different cities with boxing rings.
Ghost Town. A town full of ghosts. (Just an idea)
Karma trait 'Cop Killer' if you kill too many cops. (I presume that there currently isn't one??? At least that I haven't found)
AP ammo that ACTUALLY pierces armour. I mean, has any one tried this? Save a game in NCR. Pull out the H&k p90 (i think that's it) and load it with JHP ammo. Then waste the closest cop. Then reload, try the same thing again with AP. When I did it, using JHP I hit the guy for 70 HP. With AP I hit him for NO DAMAGE!!! I mean come on! AP ammo should do more damage.
Ties in with above, better combat system. In particular grenades. Currently the throwing skill is one which I completely ignore because everything you throw does such crap damage. Grenades, in fact ALL explosive weapons, should do more damage. A rocket launcher should really be able to blow someone apart. (Incidentally, how come when I critically hit someone in the eyes I blow their arm off? Maybe an animation for a headless death
I think the skill checks need altering. I presume that currently a random number is chosen and if that random number is lower then your skill then you pick the lock or disarm the trap or whatever. I reckon it might need changing to a system of minimum requirements. Eg. Certain locks require a lockpick skill of 50%. If you have less then 50% you can't pick the lock. If you have over 50% you can. A say this because will playing FO2 I picked the lock on a safe. Then when I tried picking the lock on a locker I jammed it. My lockpick skill at the time was 70%. I mean for F**KS SAKE! That's like a master thief sneaking into your house, cracking your digital safe and then when he goes outside to nick your kids bike, he bodges up the padlock on the bike chain.
