A question

RiseIn

First time out of the vault
I have only played Fallout 3 and a bit of New Vegas, so I'm wondering how bad is the content of Fallout 1 with all the censors on in the options? Would it be equivalent to that of a T rated game rated T only for violence?
Thanks.

The content is very mild compared to more recent games. The main controversy was the fact you could kill children in a violent way. The European versions removed the kids to avoid being banned. You do have an option in the game to turn off the exploding bodies, but that would spoil half the fun.

If Teen is "violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language" then it sounds about right. Most foul language will be filtered out. When defeated in combat, people will just fall over with no blood. (Of course, shooting at people could be seen as somewhat uncivilized in itself.) There's gambling. Sexual encounters are rare, optional and entirely implicit.

Alright, thanks. I'm gonna be flying on a plane with my relatives (who are old) so I didn't want to play anything that's too violent. I'll be playing it on the plane with all the censors on, thanks again!
