If fallout 3 ever does get craeted (cross fingers and hope like hell) then they should make the map world wide...instaed of only keeping it in the USA. In fallout 1...the opening cinematics (the war never changes part) it says that other countrys each made vaults or ways for there own people to survive...so what if they did survive...
Personally i think that the russion goverment should have survived the war...as did the US goverment on fallout 2.
That way the russions could re-unite there nation and jump start the next cold war...In the game you should be able to chose witch country you want to play for and then becaume a traitor and work for the enimi for some extra cash
This is just an idea of what i would like fallout 3 to be like...

If some one has allraedy posted this idea...and by looking at the amount of posts in this forum i guess some one will have...then i appologise in advance for unintentionally copy there post...sorry :)

Or did you miss that most of Fallout is the interaction of a few places? How is that going to happen unless you get Daggerfall trash cities where only 5 people in the world matter and they are in separate cities (the rest have randomly-generated names)? There's going to have little interaction between them since it takes a LONG time to travel even within the wasted state of California.

To make an entire world with locations enough and depth enough like Fallout, this is the epitome of pipe-dreams.

sorry for posting an idea that has allready been mentioned....i should really check out the other posts before i send anymore crummy ideas....i should be good for a couple of days with the amount of posts in this place.

It's a nice idea, and I've seen it done well in the form of a fan fic (more or less.) And it has been posted before, but don't worry about it, there isn't much chance in hell you could find it.

Hmm..., what about something more alone the lines of Morrowind?

Then again, would they have that kind of money to pull it off? :)
