So I'm getting a new PC next week, and I want to know what the best Audio/Visual setup would be. Should I just get a badass monitor with built in speakers? Do I want a headset for teamspeak and w/e, or just a mic? Is there any way to get surround sound for cheap?

What you could do is go with something like a Speed Link Medusa 5.1 headset which can provide you with good sound quality a nice in built mic and surround sound. I once had a pair of these, and i liked them alot. Ideal if you use something like TS or vent alot, like i do.

built in speakers will always give inferior sound compared to standalone speakers.

for teamspeak (ie during clanwars), you're probably better off with a headset+mic combo, but for general gameplay you can just put the headset down and just use the mic (with sound coming from your speakers).

plenty of cheap 5.1 speakers around, just make sure the sound quality is decent (signal to noise, strength, etc)

sjeez, looks like a piece of shit tbh. anyhow, never heard of that brand, but for that price you might as well by a Sennheiser headset with integrated mic. i've got one, it rocks..;
