My before message was very brief and dull. Her are some more ideas i have thoughten of:

There should be a band of Enclave even more powerful than the first Enclave. Their base was hiden in Nevada. That is particularly were the game should take place.

Living in Nevada, I have a good perspective of all the towns. Las Vegas should be in the game definently. It could be kind of like New Reno, but bigger and brighter. The casinos would be a good thing too. Lot's of hookers.

I live 30 miles away from Area 51, so I know some about that place, even though it is highly confidential. Maybe a fairly good Enclave base. A new species of aliens could live there allied with the Enclave making troubles worse. They would have a highly advanced flying machine even more advance of that of the verti-plane things.

Tonopah would be another great place. It is small and deserty like most of Nevada. It might be able to have a vault in it. Like the forgotten Vault16. Who knows what would be in there.

Part of Colorado could be in the game, aslo. How about Denver. That could be the highest business town in Fallout 3. The town could have connections to a lot of things like caravans, NPC's, the Brotherhood of Steel in their highest, etc.

Those are just a few ideas of towns.

The car, being a long time in the future from Fallout2, could be a Dodge Charger :).

An idea of the NPC's and Characters are listed below. You could have a guard or something from the Brotherhood of Steel join you this time. Maybe they could be more futuristic. Like futuristic armor and weapons. The dogs would have to be a lot more advanced than Fallout 2 and 1. They were really bad NPCs in the past games to my opinion. A new race could be descovered also. Don't have any ideas about that.

Now for the weapons ;). Weapons could be highley advanced and deadly. Well, at the first, it would have to be weak. I like going weak and then advancing into better weapons. How about a pistol. As you go on a laser shotgun would be nice. To the top could be a Steel Piercing, fully automatic, 100 round, big ass, fire, laser, elephant gun thing. Sorry got a little carried away there.

Armor would be highly advanced also. The highes armor mark could be Power Armor mark 5. At the beginning you could start out either with a vault 13 suit, or maybe start out as a different race. Maybe even a deathclaw or the Enclave. That would be an awesome view from a lot of different races. Say if you want to be evil you could be an Enclave member. Fight against the new Chosen One as a boss.

Well, those are just a couple of ideas coming from my insane self. If you have any comments or ideas about what i just wrote, be free to post them.

I had no problems with the dogs. In fact, a small pack of Dogmeat, and both robotic dogs allowed me to pick off the enemies at my leisure while they were kept busy. And aside from mounting twinked twin-mounted rocket launchers on them, they fulfill their purpose already by being a good HtH fighter. If not in strength, then in "knock-down". Dogmeat and the MKII robotic dog have good critical hit potentials, leading in knock-downs and quite often unconsciousness.

And a Kill-O-Zap Ray Gun as well....

This is a post-apocalyptic game. Aside from many pre-war organizations having weapon-production capabilities, you aren't going to find too many places with good weapons manufacture. Now, even with the futuristic weapons already in the Fallout series, there isn't going to be too much improvement. And aren't laser guns, plasma rifles, bozar and vindicator enough already? Do you need to add in a BFG10k?

Unfortunately, "multi-storylining" will not let them get into the same depth as the first two. It's too complex, to an extreme. I did wish there was more evil missions for Fallout/Fallout2, but when it gets into something as convoluted as Daggerfall, it's too much. Daggertfall tried to do that, with the end result of becoming too watered-down in other areas. Or the game got too "interchangeable" in how it was played. You could have the same missions if you were good or evil. And different races would convolute it much more than that.

Why couldn't it be a Kill-O-Zap gun i FO3? FO1 had the Alien Blaster and FO2 had the Solar Scorcher AND the whale from HHGTTG (HitchHikers Guide To The Galaxy). I'm not saying that FO3 should be a completly non-realistic comic game like Simon the Sorcerer or Monkey Island, but one of the funniest things in FO2 was when I discovered the Crashed Whale with the daisys. FO3 needs humour! IF I say IF Interplay uses the Kill-O-Zap gun then it should be like the Solar Scorcher and the alien blaster: a unique item that you can only find in a random encounter.
That's just my two bottle caps.

I think that FO2 has too much of humour and easter egss in it. We have neutral (FO1) and funnny one (FO2) Fallout, so I think it is time for much darker Fallout (FO3?). Ok, humour is essential in Fallout series, but I think that postapocalyptic atmosphere too. Easter eggs - why not, but too much of them will turn a game into "Greatest tour along most exciting places in the wasteland". If there will be only few of them, then it will be more valuable if you find some.

I agree that the kill-o-zap gun should be in the game. It could be an alien blaster, but bigger. A lot of people will never even find it anyways in a random encounter.

So the game centers in Nevada; but Denver, Colorado is the business hub? Does that put Denver at about the center of the map? Do you realize how large the map would be to include Las Vegas & Denver (if both were at edges of the map)? You have a whole state inbetween the two. It would be like traveling from The Glow to Gecko, and having Gecko be a business hub.

there is noooooooo wayyyyyyyy the enclave would ally with aliens.1 they were gonna kill thousands of people in F2 because there DNA and APPEARANCE were diffrent.2there is no way.

See how easily the aliens have fooled you?

I don't want any aliens in FO3, unless it's a special encounter; and even then...it's been done, so why do it again?
