ABOUT SCRIPT EDITORS (FSE==>FALSE)

The Bigs

First time out of the vault
All I wanted to say is that, about 2 years ago, I began using my free time to work on a project, it was called FALSE, wich means "FALLOUT SCRIPT EDITOR", wich is very similar to the F.S.E. that is currently being developed/translated. Thing is: When FALSE was about 50% done, I sent e-mails to the people making total conversions for fallout, offering my help and asking them if a Script Editor (not a compiler/decompiler) was necessary... They answered: "No, notepad is just fine"... (ALL of the people to whom I sent my e-mails answered the same thing). Well, I waited 2 months and asked again. Once more, I got the same answer: "No, we dont need that, but thanks for asking". Then, I stopped working on it, and when I had to format my computer, I noticed that I didnt have any back-up disks for FALSE... well, thanks to those modders, you will now have to wait for F.S.E. to be translated, not mentioning that FALSE could have been already made (In english). Ok... thats it...THANK YOU MODDERS :evil: GRR :evil:

Sorry to hear that

I'm sorry to hear about that...I personally think the idea was a good one and I would have loved something other then notepad. especially since I am new to fallout mods.

<shameless plug> Well, you might want to take a look at a little tool I've written. Link in my sig.

yep that sad.
Well on start i was working on FSE for my personal use, so i didn't have this problem.

I want to write about Dscript tool but de dood has did this a minute ago :o

BTW FSE is almost translated, and will be ready in about 5 days

BTW, dude, nice work with your FSE... You solved some programming puzzles (such as the color-coding) that gave me a hard time when I was making my FALSE... I mean it: nice work! :D
