Abuse2: Does it run on your system?

Just wondering if there's a curious person here who has gotten this to work or wants to try it out. I have tried all Compatibility modes on both my machine and a Windows XP Virtual Machine - no dice. The screen goes black for a second and then nothing.

Classic DOS gaming, it's a sweet game. I guess this is like a fan-made modification or something. And is supposed to be Windows-native instead of DOS-native.

I remember Abuse (but have never played it), but why did you add a 2 at the end? This is the first (and only) game.

Anyway no luck with me either. :\ Too bad I would have like to try it.

hm, I remember playing Abuse with the help of Dosbox in Win 7 not too long ago. don't remember which version of Abuse it was though. I had it on my pc since a while back, not sure where I got it from.

I will try the version you posted later today.
