Adding items to crates, lockers etc.

How do i add things to crates an lockers in the official fallout mapper?

The way I am doing it at the moment is a bit long winded - I am placing items on the floor an then pressing F8 to enter game mode an then picking them up an putting them where I want them, is there a short cut to add items?

Yes, of course: select the container, hit edit on the toolbar and then hit "add to inventory". There's a similar button to empty the container. This procedure works for critters inventories too.
See you.

Yes, Sirren´s right... By the way, a real fun is to add somewhere e.g. 500$. Whereas in TeamX mapper by Dims it´s very intuitively done, in official Mapper I´m always hitting it 500x... Isn´t there some more comfortable possibility? :D

How about a script? :D
No avail. However, you can keep the left eye of your mouse squeezed for a time and the buck$ will raise appropriately (though somewhat slower than I'd wanted them to, but anyway...)

Yes, that can be done... In the first place I thought you wanted to make a script which would resolve adding the coins to item/critter through the mapper itself.

Actually there's a clck+key combination... I can't remember if it's ctrl or shift+click. After that you type the amount you need. Handy when adding 5,000 + bucks...

Shift + click is right. 8)

Thanks saved me allot of time, one thing can I use the frame animator to turn FOT images into Images for fallout 2 like walls an so on?

Hi there.
Look at Regen's latest thread about weapons, Wild_Qwert gave the answer.
In short: yes it can do it. If I remember correctly Tactics walls have a different orientation from the Fallout ones though.
See you.
