Adult Swim/Home Movies

First time out of the vault
Has anyone ever watched the Cartoon Network block Adult Swim? (I believe the European equivalent is CNX) This has become my new obsession, particularly the incredibly unique and oftentimes genius show "Home Movies". In fact I started a site dedicated to this show ( www.starboy.tk , as it says in my sig). So, has anyone else seen this? What'd you think? (And also feel free to give me feedback on my site; I hear it has good content but lacks a strong layout)

Sealab is alright...but it kind of gets old after awhile. All the characters have about one big joke with them (Sparks is evil, Murphy is crazy, Debbie is a slut, Quinn is the smart one, Stormy is stupid, Marco is the big Latin man). Sometimes the show can be really funny, but other times it just drags.

sealab pwns home movies yo

you are correct sir.

Harvery Birdman Attorney at Law is also quite good and Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

But home moives and ATHF usually suck although they can be good at times. :(

ATHF can be utterly hilarious though.

I liked Home Movies, mostly because of Coach Magurk (spelling?). I was somewhat displeased when they cancled it, however that feeling went away when I realized it was replaced by Family Guy. But it would have been nice if they got rid of a crappy show like The Ripping Friends to make room for it.

It's not cancelled. It'll be back May 25th with a new episode ("Coffins and Cradles") and then will go back on the schedule Sundays-only. They'll stick with that for awhile, then the new season (4) will play through in Fall 2003.

And yes, McGuirk is great. And yes, Family Guy is hilarious. And yes, Ripping Friends sucks.

Then what show is being replaced Home Movies?

On a related note, does anyone find it odd that The Ripping Friends, a show that used to be a Saturday morning cartoon on Fox, now has the whole parental advisory thing going on?

Figuring how Cartoon Network's schedule is harder to follow than a hard trig identity, I'll just post the schedule they have:

Starting May 25th:

Sundays:

11 PM - Home Movies - One new episode
11:30 AM - Harvey Birdman - New Episodes
11:45 AM - ATHF - New episodes
12:00 AM - Sealab 2021 - New episodes
12:15 AM - Space Ghost Coast to Coast
12:30 AM - The Oblongs
1:00 AM - Trigun
1:30 AM - Cowboy Bebop

Weekdays:

May 26th:

11:00 PM - Futurama
11:30 PM - Family Guy
12:00 AM - Lupin III
12:30 AM - Inuyasha
1:00 AM - Trigun
1:30 AM - Cowboy Bebop

In the action department, Lupin will be getting new episodes in May or June (or somewhere around there).

Yea...it doesn't belong on Adult Swim. I post on an Adult Swim board at Toonzone, and everyone says the same thing. It's a childish and crappy show (and I think after May 25th it will be permanently put out of its misery)
