African web cam

a webcam of a waterhole... o boy. Maybe I'll get to see some elephants doin the nasty! *fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap*
 
Check it out during the day (that is, when it's daylight in South Africa). There were a lot of animals running around earlier today. It was actually pretty nice to watch while I was working on boring Excel spreadsheets at work.
 
I hear whispering-like sounds. Either some tribals are having freaky sex, a ghost is chanting curses at me, or someone keeps running by the camera's microphone, huffing and puffing.

I just saw a small rodent run by the water hole then jump around and sip a quick drink or two, and it sounds like the microphone is really sensitive or right near the water's edge. I heard the little thing breathing while it took a few drinks, then make a quick grunt as it trotted off.

P.S.

I want to see some bloodshed, Shaka Zulu style.
 
I'd like to see a white tourist being chased by tribals.. or maybe a lion or somekind of predator.. only to be tackled/shot by a projectile and land face down in the water hole.. turning the murky brown water a red like color.. That would be cool. :twisted:

edit: oo I think i just saw a shooting star.. I'm going to wish for the above.

edit: oops.. just gigantic african bugs..
 
1:30 at night at the crickets and chirping, but otherwise.... everyone seems asleep. Something funny just ran across the ground... couldn't see what it was though.
 
When I saw the warthog recently someone was zooming and following it. Is there like a team or so monitoring if something happens there or what?
 
You know, if you are in a public lab and you've got speakers. you could easily turn this puppy up and drive everyone nuts.

Or you could use this to help you sleep. Then again, hearing a lion bring down a squealing wild boar might be hellish to wake up too.

There is (or was) a site where you could book sort of a webcam attached to a rifle on a movable turret. It was placed in the woods and you could wait for an animal to shoot. If you shoot something they (the guys who offered this stuff) even prepared and sent you the hides and other demanded trophies. Too bad I forgot how it was called.
