Afterfall Trailer

Does it have to be so orange? I realize there's supposed to be an overabundance of decaying stuff, but they could've done the demo in something that wasn't a sand fog.

Ok, I must say, a good deal of my skepticism has been quelled. Granted, I still wonder if you'll be able to pull it all off, but the imagery and the atmosphere are great. I particularly like the music.

Why the video lagged so much even with its 35 or so frames per second?

Away from that i found it to be almost perfect, the too orange thing worked great for me...

I wonder if there is any real explanation to that orangeness though.

it's because of the recording program (we don't have access to record directly from unigine yet, but as far as i know it will change soon)

I've been watching this trailer minutes ago and it looks damn good.
The orange looks fine for me. Lagging can be annoing during the game (any requairements already known?).
The character that walks a bit strange.

Music is awesome!

Keep the work going.
For the first view is Strong 4+

The video looks really good and the music fits perfectly. I hope everything works out fine for the project. One flaw I noticed were the power lines that bend at 'sharp' angles (you know what I mean). I know it's hard to overcome, but it just looks weird.
I'm looking forward to more footage.

< - acute alnlge
L - right angle
_/ - obtuse angle

Which do you mean? ;) That the power lines ought ot be rounded?

Due to the fact that the engine which we are using is the evaluation version (100 USD) the animation looks the way it does. Then again, it suits us, because thanks to it we achieved a result of heavy, breathless (as it was called earlier) atmosphere.

It is hard to say how long it will still take to get the full version, but we are very close to it. As soon as we receive the source code, we will have total control over the engine.

This animation was suppose to show to the community, that Afterfall is alive and running. We were working really hard to create that animation and we are happy with the result.

We hope that the materials that will follow will make your blood run faster. Thank you all for expressing interest in the project.
